As for my backstory:

I have always been very sexual, and in 7th grade, decided it was time to pursue girls. About the same time as that, I ran into a stash of porno magazines with fetish material and BDSM stuff - through school acquaitences and such...you know, that old chestnut. While trying to fall asleep, I would just daydream up movie-type scenarios that seemed like cool fantasies to live out - placing myself in either dominant or submissive roles, depending on the setting and back story...and this whole time I was dating girls, but at that age, we were all "vanilla." Not a chocolate or rainbow sherbert to be found- and dammit, I need variety!

Days of linking leads me to a dungeon close to where I live, and I tell my lady about it. She is hesitant. i show her all the cool classes and themed play parties on the events calender...she is a bit more interested. Later that night, we watched the movie "Shortbus," and I again suggested that we attend orientation. She agreed.

The rest...as they say, is history. All I can say is, I learned more watching "real" people play at the first party we attended, then most of those books taught me over years- though they prepared me for what to expect and gave me the proper names and background for what I was watching that night. Moreover, we met a ton of super cool people we can open up to without fear of judgment. Now I am here, and most happy to be among friends.
