We'll have all sorts of unusual belly dance costumes, from corpse brides to masquerade party-goers. Come join us for spooky spectacular dance show! Plus, the Bozeman gals will be making a special appearance! And afterwards, the biggest Halloween party in Billings... Gonna be FUN!

henna intensive immersion weekend workshop Oct 2009

Henna Caravan is pleased to be able to again offer our 3 day intensive
henna immersion workshop the 16-18 of October.
We will start on the 16th with basics from what is henna and move
through how to mix henna, and spend the entire day working with henna
in all styles from Moroccan to Gulf style to bridal.
Included in the workshop: all meals, all henna supplies, and
instruction and henna artists to mentor you every step of the way. A
beginner kit is part of the class for newbies as well as the big book
of henna instruction for everyone .

If you can only come for one day cost is $100 from 9am -12pm or even
later -whenever the last person goes to bed.
If you are coming for all three days cost is $200. we start at 9 am
and go till all hours of the day and night with some people getting up
as others are going to bed.

With so many amazing artists available you will go home with amazingly
increased understanding of pattern design, implementation, and
structure, and lots of tips, tricks and technique . Renuka will also
be leading belly dance each day, and we will have a henna on hair
workshop too.
We have 6 master artists to teach you and they are also very happy to
give you the most amazing henna ever so you go home covered with
beautiful designs.

What do you need to bring? nothing but your sense of adventure...

we provide all henna, tools, instructors, paper, pencils, cones,
glitter, meals for veggie and carnivores alike, open bar, gift bags
for every attendee, and our craft of the day will include the ever
popular sugar skulls .

Hello all!
I am a mehndi artist from Helena, MT and wanted to introduce myself! I run Zhashki Henna, which is currently comprised of me, two other artists, and an assistant. We have henna, will travel and can be found at the local Helena Farmer's Market, the upcoming Mount Helena Music Festival, and many other events. We do private appointments and parties, along with selling supplies for henna body art and natural hair coloring. We all have a great love of mehndi and hope to hear from you! I want it all -glitter

We are so excited with spring and sunshine finally here so we can use glitter again.
We have even added a "I want it all" glitter selection so you can have it all too.

Yellowstone Valley Bellydance Festival

Raks Alimah Bellydance is proud to announce the Yellowstone Valley Bellydance Festival on August 16, 2008 in Billings, Montana! The show will be at Venture Theater in downtown Billings from 7-10pm.

It will be a fun filled night celebrating the enigmatic art of bellydance! We'll have cabaret, tribal-fusion, tribaret and more! Anything goes! We want to showcase all the different facets of this art and the joy each dancer brings to the show!

We'd love to have you dance with us! Please, let me know if you're interested in performing! The more the merrier! We're gonna have a blast =)

The 16th is the last night of Montana Fair. So.... If you would like to come down you could also enjoy the fair during the day (lots of fair food, rides, concerts, shows, etc!) And then that night, you can dance with us!

...Lotus Fire Belly dance is hosting a hafla this November 17th in the MSU Strand Union Building upstairs. We still have a few openings for vendors if anyone is interested in setting up a table and selling your Mendhi services (or costume designs or imported jewelry, etc.) or just stop by and enjoy the festivities! And of course, please join us for our peformance on November 18th at the Emerson.
