i've been creating an online sketchbook where i have pulled together sketches and photos of things i've made in the past ... as well as some sketches of things i'm currently working on, and others i'd like to do some day. it's an ongoing book that i'll keep updating. it's a big project but an enjoyable one!
i've put this collection together mostly to inspire others. i figure ideas are free, so why not share them.

Tue, February 5, 2008 - 7:32 AMi'm using iWeb (apple software), it's really easy to use since it has templates, and lets me drag and drop images and crop them on the page. i've done full website design in the past, but i didn't want this site to become a full-time job. i wanted to be able to finish a sketch and toss it up on a page quickly ... or add photos that people send me of them wearing their clothes out and about ... iWeb makes it easy to do that.

Tue, February 5, 2008 - 7:36 AMoh, and the sketches themselves i use adobe illustrator. i've used the program for years, so it's a quick way for me to design since most of my sketching happens on the 45 minute train ride to/from work. -

Tue, February 5, 2008 - 7:39 AMawesome..that's the one I was wondering about.. not that a computer program will improve my sketching any, but it would be so nice to have cleaner looking drawings to present to clients, especially with the fashion show I have coming up in June.

Wed, February 6, 2008 - 9:59 AMyeah, i haven't figured out what blak opal twist i'm going to put on the max outfit i make ... i'll have the bear onezie i'm making as a "test pattern" done this weekend, then i can start thinking about what i want to do with Max ... it's going to be a lot of fun. especially making the feet and that crown! it's going to be very soft-sculpture like i think.
