maybe the chalk giant was an icon for its time, and homer is an icon for this time...I dont find offence to it, unless it is on private property, or historically protected land. If its on private property...its not for us to say, if its tresspassing, thats another legal issue...the chalk will desinigrate and Homer will disappear...

..although there maybe some prudes who find the old chalk giant offensive for its...errrrrrrrrrrrr you know....erect apendage..
