I was in a bead shop in Melbourne a few months ago on my way back from Tasmania and found the 'semi-precious' section. Semi-precious is what people call the affordable crystals with metaphysical properties, I say affordable because I assume that precious crystals like diamonds also have metaphysical properties. Indeed if the great pyramid was indeed capped by a diamond it would almost definitely have metaphysical properties!
Anyway, I was walking along a row of necklaces, bracelets made out of everything from tigers-eye to aquamarine but I felt a distinct resonance with green garnet, so much so that it made me stop and investigate what I had 'felt'.

Sun, May 11, 2008 - 5:30 PMi am drawn to the emerald green color of uvarovite (green garnet) too, she seems to have a different physical healing energy than the red varieties....she tells me she can help strengthen a tired liver and help support detoxification, while the red garnet works directly on the blood and fluids. i have read that green garnet has been used as an anti-inflammatory and fever reduction.....regeneration keeps popping in my head when i think of her too. the russian variety of uvarovite is so sparkley and druzy like, soooo beautiful, and druzy formations share their energies farther. that is interesting that the great pyramid was topped with diamond, makes so much sense. the mayans topped their pyramids with mica, like a beacon to above, to join us on the earth :)
