Q Organically grown crystals

Does anyone know of an organism(s) that create crystals as part of the makeup of their body? I'm just wondering how possible it is that a crystalline structure can be grown by an animal/plant.
I know we have apatite in our bones, for instance, and Nettles produce a type of silica that make up their stingy needles.
Any other revelations would be cool :-)

I swear I had dreams/visions/Akoshic recall of this place, but it seems like about the most inaccessable place on Earth, bar the core!
Anyone been near there? Can you describe how it felt? Just being above all the crystals at Mt. Ida in Ak. or Enchanted rock sets me off, I can't even imagine the feeling this place must have...

So, I have this beauty of a specimen, not just how she looks but how she "feels" ebergy-wise (and "she" is just a feeling I get) Anyways I purchased her a few months back because she really wanted to go home with me. I held her a little, carried her with me, always wanted to wrap her and wear her but she did not want me to wrap her, not yet at least. So I placed the crystal on my altar for awhile. Today she called and wrapping was ok. I had to be so gentle in the process because of how she is in the matrix and all. A small piece broke off, but that just means I have more functions for the stome now. Anyways I wore the stone all day touching my heart chakra. Went swimming in the river with her, as I was releasing some of my energy and she was helping. When I came home and took a shower I took her off, Put on some pajamas and then I wanted to go outside for some connection with the earth and the energies as the day faded. I wanted the crystal with me, but got the message not to wear it around my neck. I did noy have any pockets so I tucked it into the top of my underwear. When I came back in I had forgottten that I had the crystal there and as I was cleaning dishes I began to experience a feeling of being "turned on", which was interesting because it was myself I was turned on about. Not thinking about anyone else. No outside stimuli, just my own internal self and energy. Then Kundalini popped in my head. I went with the thoughts, focused on the energy and kundalini is what I feel I was interacting with. I felt a movement , freedom, personal power. It stayed there in my first chakra, just sort of "swimming" around. Later as I was walking around I realized I still had the crystal in my underwear. That's when I connected the crystal with the Kundalini movement. What are others experience with this stone?

rock friends

last full moon, i hosted the bioregional animism convergence here on the island. during the convergence, i set out the intentions to start using even more found rocks from my bioregion in my crystal work. previously, i had been using some rough local rocks like rhodonite and garnet, but they were mostly rocks that were given to me from friends, not ones i found myself on the beach. well the universe was listening! this week, at the beach....spirit guided me to so many gems!!!! just laying there on the beach :) just this week, i found a huge chunk of jade, so many pieces of jasper, petrified wood, garnet, bright green agate, bright purple agate. i have never found large colored agates before! the colors are so vibrant............

so i have been spending time with my new rock friends, taking baths, snuggling :) they have shared so much with me, whispering things in my ear. the green agate especially has told me that it helps to balance the thyroid and iodine levels in the body. the jade is telling me she can help those with weakness in the kidneys. it truly amazes me how quickly the universe provides things when you simply set the intentions and ask. i have lived here 4 years and have never found so many gems (and eagle feathers 3x). so many good friends just waiting for you to ask them to join your family and energies. i truly am grateful to live in a place with beaches full of crystalline friends............ island life is good stuff :) so much wisdom reflecting at me, from the rocks on the beach to the eagles singing to me in the morning. so many messages and friendships to be had if we are open!

broken lemurian seed crystal

when I got the first of my two large lemurian wands I had such an attachment to my smaller one that I carried it around with me in my purse, carefully wrapped up of course!, for the first month or so. I frequently visit florida's natural hot springs, and would often cleanse them in the water and take them to see some sacred sites. After taking them to see the nation's tallest cypress trees, I came home and laid my purse on the couch. Without thinking, the next morning I was readying myself for work and left in a bit of a rush. I looked down into my bag later that day to find my lemurian was missing.

I came home that night and didn't remember to look around for my crystal immediately. My boyfriend was in a rare cleaning mode and who was I to interrupt a miracle? He was rapidly taking things thrown haphazardly on the couch and when I looked over at him, time slowed down just enough to see my favorite crystal leap from the couch, fly into the air, and crash down into the tile floors breaking part of the tip clear off.

Now, I'm not one to leave my crystal's lying around, and especially not THIS crystal. I hear mixed reports of what people usually do with their broken crystals, but this one was too precious to my heart (with a perfect pyramid inside, with waves, dolphins and an actual dolphin growth on it's right side!) to give back to the earth immediately.

It's been a few months now, and I have been letting the crystal heal. Not using it in my usual grids or layouts and I don't have the feeling that I'm supposed to get rid of it. The piece that broke off of it made the most unusual rippling effect throughout the crystal, rather than a sharp shard from a regular quartz...

anyways, I'm still pretty distraught and I was looking for some opinions on the matter...

Do you think that this is a way that the crystal could be showing me a hidden key??
the thought has crossed my mind more than few times... Plus, I think that it's amazing to touch the inside of the crystal where no one has laid a finger before...

Confused, please help!

I've gotten close to sugilite lately. I didn't like it before...maybe because I wasn't ready for it... I know sugilite is a rare stone and most of the ones in the market are rather black and ugly, but i've gotten close to a crystal dealer that apparently has the world's supply of this stuff. I can't say it's the prettiest stone, but I can definitely vouch that it is truly the "love" stone, why? because it actually feels like love. The surface of the stone actually emanates this energy that i swear it's love. Some of my crystal dealer friends actually think it's the new jade due to it's complex structure. There are very many colors of this stone... the darker colors are very strong energetically.

need some input please

I am seeing a new man who is very interested in working with crystals. He is connected to the Devic realm, and plants are his sanctuary. The problem, as far as I can tell, is that he lacks focus or clarity. He has a million great ideas, but he does not take the time to plot out a course of action on any of them, so he ends up stuck in exactly the same spot he started in.

For example, he needs to go back to school so he can make more money at work. His bosses have told him "if you show us your school registration, you will make at least $5/hour more". I would have enrolled immediately, but he has not done it and it has been at least 3 weeks since he was told. I think one of the problems is that he is not sure what to major in and so he does not want to commit or maybe he just has too many interests and doesn't know where to begin with any of them. In the meantime, he has asked me for my support and he is willing to work with crystals. He said my support means a lot to him, so I am guessing that he was not brought up in a household where he was supported very much. I am not sure - this is just guess work on my part.

The other problem is that he smokes a lot of pot. I have shown him with qi gong how it interferes with his energy, but so far he is not willing to quit outright. I think he would be willing to understand the energy exchange a little bit better, though.

I gave him a lithium quartz for focus to start with and he loves the energy so far, but I was thinking there must be something more suitable for lack of focus. Any thoughts?

what can people tell me of activator/generator quartz crystals. perhaps a crystal is not both, so tell me about the properties of each...not really sure. Just did a shamanic journey and White Alligator placed a good sized short fat quartz crystal point which was an "activator/generator" crystal in my heartspace...The crystal was the size of my hands clasped together... just looking into the crystal...I have a feeling I am going to come across the actual crystal.

River stones

river stones have been the biggest talkers to me lately. (probably because I spend more time outside than in the shops right now) There presence is so strong and fluid and tell me of constant movement of energy, constant "flow"... The stones I find most are black tourmaline in another stone and different shades of moonstone. There is also garnet and of course Mica. There are plenty other types of stone but I cannot identify them. They have been coming home with me in droves. I have bowls filled with tiny stones and the larger stones I have stacked into cairns everywhere inside my home. Cairns and rivers.... anyone else interested in what natural stones they can find around them?

The name came to me out of thin air,
it nagged me for hours to the point where i had to look at what the stone did.

OK its known for being rich in occult properties but pointed out exactly what i required from it in healing also.
I looked up a supplier and was awestruck by its inherent beauty, radiance and sheer power.
Spendy yes but from what i saw or should i say felt, they are well worth looking into.

Blue sapphire is especially nice but then i saw others, pink and yellow.
All of which looked very comfortable to work with.
I then found some rough sapphire and it looked equally as impressive,
a worthwhile financial investment as much as being a worthwhile spiritual one.

This stone is a born spiritual communicator,
stronger than quartz i believe.
It is calming yet deep,
moving us in a gentle way towards greater skills of saying what we should instead of shying away.
So this stone also compliments us working with the shadow self.

lemurian seed roots

i wanted to share some info on a type of crystal that i have just recently discovered and worked with........lemurian seed roots. these "roots" are the heart of where the lemurian seed crystals grew from. they are the central heart and seed as to where the crystal wands grew out of.......there are male and female roots. the male is trigonal and a very strong mover of energy. the female has a spiral shape, the spiral of the kundalini energy contained in them is obvious in looking at them. these crystals are so amazingly powerful and their loving energy is very very strong. people that have been to my house many times and looked at various crystals have been drawn right to them and often they have said "wow i have never felt energy from a crystal before, and i feel this crystal right in my heart" the first day, i worked with them, i took a really long bath and put the male and female along the chakra column on my torso. right away it felt like i was in a steam room, my lymphatic system started to pump and move and my heart and blood was pumping very steady and hard. it was regulating my blood pressure and opening up any stagnation in my lymphatic system. i could feel all of my chakras opening up. the next day, i woke up and right by my heart chakra it felt like someone was pushing on my chest and it was almost hurting. within a few hours this went away and all of a sudden i felt my lungs and breath opening up so much......it opened up so much energy in my thymus gland/higher heart area too, i could feel a boost in my strength and immune system.

after working with them for a month on my self and my clients, i have noticed that women naturally have put the male piece in their left hand and the female piece in their right hand while holding them. i have also noticed the opposite with men, they seem to hold the female in the left hand and the male in the right hand. this seems to tell me that these roots balance the male and female energies in our energy body. generally, our energies come in thru our left hand and go out thru the right.(enegy can go in and out either hand tho). a woman holding a male piece in her left hand would be bringing in those masculine energies. balance of the yin and yang, all stimulating the heart....these crystals are amazing. they also have been working very powerfully at crystal gridding around the body while doing my crystal layouts. i have been naturally pointing the male root up toward the first chakra, at the location of the earthstar chakra, and a female up at the soul star chakra, also a male and female below the chakras at the soles of the feet. this configuration really gets the kundalini rising in the body and amplifies the energy field in the aura.

Labradorite

I'm not very clued up on crystals but I've always had an affinity with them and find them fascinating! I'm hoping to learn more about them so I can use them effectively.

Last October my Father suffered quite a severe stroke and I looked for crystals which had healing properties that would aid his recovery.

At the time, and after some time spent googling, I found a website that claimed Labradorite to have properties that would help heal brain injury & aid stroke recovery. However, since that particular time, I've found very few sites that echo this information?

From someone in my position, how do you know which information is accurate and which isn't?

If anyone can tell me if these properties are correct I'd be very grateful... and if not, any advice on which crystals would help, would be very much appreciated.

Hi Beautiful People of the Crystal Tribe!!!

I am goin on a plane tomorrow morning ... and i am worried about a certain very sensitive crystal that is staying with me now... i don't want to put her thru the carry-on bag x-ray machine thing... i was thinking to carry her on my person ... or wrap her with kyanite ... or maybe labradorite too ... or citrine ... the problem with the citrine is... i don't have any pure citrine right now .... only (lol) the "radiated" and burnt enhanced variety ... as pure cirtine is surprisingly hard to come by. ...oh! ... maybe i do have 1 little citrine guy somewhere, come to think of it... lol... anyway ... my point is... does anyone any thoughts on how radiation might affect her or what might help shield her?... oh it might help you to know she is a lemurian keyhole singing wand.

i have just begun to venture into the use of stones and crystals. i have recently started to aquire a few of my own and i understand it is very important to cleanse them and do so regularly, but i dont know what to use, what is best, or why those things are good for the stones.
i tried to use online resourses but i dont feel comfortable taking information from a web site that are most probably trying to sell me something. the books i have dont dive into this topic much either. but i have read through the posts on here and you all seem like helpful friends and i am very impressed by the responses.

opals are made of a high amount of water. this makes them cleansing for the emotions. they can also bring emotion to over analytical thinking people. opals have been used to give one a will to live by cleansing the past and showing one the colorful side of life. opals come in many colors and if they contain a large amount of a specific color, there are more attributes. all amorphous crystals can help us to go with the flow.

Been working with nuummite lately - what a rock! For me anyway, this stuff is like phenacite, azeztulite, or herderite which is to say that it is so powerful that I can't just wear it around the neck or put some in a pocket and let it color the rest of the day. It's more of a ceremonial trance stone to be used for maybe an hour at the most. Later on this summer I am supposed to be hypnotically regressed or maybe progressed by Dolores Cannon, and think I'll bring some nuummite along in case I have trouble going under.

What a deep, deep stone this is. I find myself thinking rather hard about time and its relativity when under its influence. Not a stone to wear while driving! I wore a necklace of it to my local bead shop yesterday to kinda show it off, and stumbled around the place rather incoherently while I was there. Note to self - these are not toys or shiny gew gaws to be paraded about.

sage for cleaning

crystal pendulums

do any of you use crystal pendulums? and if so, what kind of crystal....how do you use it?

i have a favorite pendulum made of a natural point of green kunzite, i use it to scan the chakras to look for blockages...having someone hold a piece of kunzite, while i scan the body with the pendulum of kunzite often will point to the organs that are being affected...it is pretty amazing and accurate!

Changes in my amethyst...

Oh yeah, the morning after Stonehenge I noticed my Amethyst crystal had new green cracks on it, similar shade to a green resin I had seen arrive out of nowhere on the orgone generator I once had taped to my phone. Over the past month the crystal has also gained new phantoms, I hadn't noticed but it's previous owner noticed the phantom changes. But the green cracks, which I suspect had something to do with me leaving the crystal on the 'heel stone' of Stonehenge for a short while (the first stone to receive the sun light on Solstice) and the electromagnetic properties of the henge, were so obvious that I noticed as soon as I saw it in sunlight.

After reading scientific studies of the pineal gland I found that most pineal glands contain calcium phosphate http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calcium_phosphate

What I was looking for was a mineral that I could wear that could act as a carrier medium for my heart to communicate with my mind. What i came up with was Calcite. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calcite

Calcite has many interesting qualities just of itself as a mineral and from what I have read it also can clear all the chakras as well. If it is true that the hearts intentions are where honest intentions come from then allowing the heart to freely communicate with the pineal gland could increase the intensity of ones intentions. Perhaps even allowing one to break through the threshold more easily when projecting out a desire if it is an honest one by overcoming the separateness of the mind and heart???? Its a theory of course.

Crystal Healing

Does anyone practice this or have it done to them. I have it done twice and felt very good and energized after wards. I believe it also helped open my third eye too. I look forward to one day doing a mix of crystal healing with Reiki and helping others feel energized and clear of negative energy! A kind of cleansing & energize thing!

Crystals for Mental health overall

Okay so I have a question I was trying my hand at Dowsing last night.
And posed the question which of the elements I need to work on.
North, East, South or West.
Well it was coming up the East which I was reading is for the Air element (which is Mental)
So what stones might be beneficial to me as I work on this area.
I think I know why it was coming up with this area.
But I am still working on it and writing as it develops.

I feel I have dealt with alot of mental abuse from my ex,
and it is something I want to be healthy in so I can be healthy in this area for myself and for my kids.
I am getting back to writing about things as my therapist had me do before.
I went to a Therapist for about a year to deal with alot of the emotional things I had been going through and what was dealing with at the time.
At times I do feel I get to feeling depressed so I put on some music and I write about what is bothering.
It does help to get things off my chest.
But I think after May it really knocked me for a loop.
I think I was feeling overloaded with all that happened and it really stressed me out.
I was feeling like pulling the covers over my head and going back to sleep.
I still feel this way at times but feeling a little better I started taking a B-12 vitamin. It has been helping with the tired feeling some.
And the doom and gloom feeling as I like to put it.
I had told the therapist I really did not want to take meds that they have on the market now days you are hearing about someone commiting suicide and so on.
I do not want to be another statistic like that I want to try a more natural approach to this.
So please send suggestions of crystals useful for Meditation.

Azeztulite elixir

I have spent the last three years developing devices that alter water. Mostly these devices employ magnets in a variety of different configurations and also various ways of moving the water within the magnetic field. These can be seen in the links provided on my profile page and also in the photos sections (folder titled "Aero Ormus") of the Yahoo "Ormus" forum. I have also made elixirs by exposing water to the fields of various crystals and minerals and found that with the higher energy stones such as moldavite and the beryls like phenacite and herderite the field is so intense that just bringing the stone close to the water without actual immersion is sufficient to imprint the water with that energy. The potential for toxic leaching of beryllium also argues against immersion of the beryls although the elixir is used in such high dilutions that there is probably no real danger there, but it's nice not to have to even think about the toxic potential if you don't have to.

The past few days I have been working with Aeztulite elixirs and must say that these are probably the most potent elixirs I have ever worked with. They are even stronger than the strongest magnetically altered water I have ever made. This is pretty darn impressive to someone who has been fiddling with altered water for a long time. The latest photo I posted shows an Azeztulite filled glass tube in the process of "making" activated water. Seems like only a few hours of exposure is necessary. One can also just directly immerse Azez stone since it is "just quartz." The water is kick ass, and one can easily "od" on it and get sleepy if it is not diluted sufficiently or taken too often during the day.

Anyway - just thought I would share this and would also like to hear from others about their elixir making techniques and discoveries.

amber's medicinal qualities

i have known for awhile that certain types of amber will dissolve in a glass of wine or other type of alcohol....and have heard of it specificly dissolving gall stones. i have a friend who sells a lot of it to people who use it in this way. after some research i have found only certain types of amber will dissolve (new mexico amber and amber from the baltic sea in particular). there are more i can not remember off of the top of my head. i use amber in my crystal layouts placed over the gall bladder. below i will post some more info i found in my research.

i feel that compassion and love are the roots to peace. i have found, crystals are really good at opening up the telepathic and compassionate energies. if we can really feel what another is going thru, we feel their pain and understand we are all at different phases spiritually. when we live with compassion and love, we can open up our hearts to help those who need it instead of pointing fingers.

kunzite has shown me very strongly the meaning of unconditional love and compassion. this crystal gives you the enthusiasm and devotion to live from the heart and really reach out and help others. she shows you that you can love everyone without putting conditions and expectations on them. trusting and accepting they are exactly where they need to be becomes very obvious. she shows you that to help another, you have to really put yourself in their shoes and come from a place of compassion and love.

fossilized horse tooth is a really good mineral for strengthening empathy. she will literally put yourself in another's shoes and show you first hand the journey of that person. fossilized horse tooth is also a strong stimulus for lucid or interdimensional dreaming.

Need suggestions for crystal of protection

There is this guy at work, when he is around, I feel very shaky. This is an extremely unusual reaction - I have never had it to a person before, only to really bad situations. The other women I work with also feel really uncomfortable around him. When I described the way he acts to my boyfriend, bf said this guy was acting like he had to be top dog. But our bad feelings go beyond what would make sense for irritation/frustration of dealing with a top dog kind of guy in a place where teamwork goes smoother than hierarchy. One of the othe women said he feels "dirty" to her. We have all been observing him carefully, in case he is doing something really wrong, or truly harmful to our clients (residents in a group home). So far he has done nothing really dangerous that we can see.

I have dealt with the shaky feeling by strengthening my personal shields, and by carrying 6 or 7 crystals on me when I know he is going to be around (I usually have 2-4 in my pockets at any given time). We have a new supervisor, who is also a woman. Last week I gave her a hematite worry stone, because it called out to me to do that. Yesterday, she asked me to find her a crystal or stone that would strengthen her against this guy, as well.

Since I can't put my finger on what is not right about this guy, and I have never studied crystals with an eye to protecting against a specific person before, does anyone here have any suggestions?

My first stone was "Tiger's Eye". It was a gift, I just liked the way it looked more than any of the other stones at the shop. I would always carry it and look at it and touch it. I was very happy with it.

terrible sleep disorder!

The boyfriend of a teacher I work with jumped out of bed suddenly trying to escape a fire in his dream(while still sleeping) He ran through the kitchen fell down and ripped his ear on a corner of a table. He had blood all over himself and the floor then he woke up to see what happen and was in a state of shock. His girlfriend had to rush him to the hospital. This is by far the worst it has ever been for him.
I don't know how to help. I was thinking something like having a crystal or stone and meditating daily in order to control his night time side.
Any advice?

Protection for..............

I am taking care of my mom right now, who is permanently disabled and in alot of pain. I have alot of empathy, and compassion for her, and would like for things to be better.I have a hard time because I absorb her pain, but that's not really an issue. I can go take a bath or do some yoga and I feel better, and hopefully she does too because, maybe, I helped take some of hers away. The real problem is when she's on medication. Which is pretty much all the time. The energy she exudes when she's really high is sticky, gooey, and black. I feel it crawling onto me and I get physically nauseous and need to leave. Does anyone have any personal experience with this kind of thing, or know anything I could carry around to ward off this horrible awful creepy energy? I just need to make it another month but is is so intolerable, I don't understand why it's not easier for me to handle it. I am usually pretty adept at keeping a good shield, and boundaries, but this just seems to....jump...right off of her, and then she stumbles over to give me a hug, and I can't be like, no, you know...but when she hugs me I just want to scream and run away. Ahhh just talking about it made me feel better. Thanks everyone.

Very scarry happening - kicking it with Kyanite now!

Alright, so I work part time in a restaurant and I had a very frightening happening the other night. Most of the kids that come in are over privileged college kids who have some pretty intense entitlement issues and this one the other night was no exception, she had a funky ID, but I served her, it all added up, but something wasn't right, and when I told her I would serve her showed no sign of gratitude, even though all her friends were like "yeah, this is a norm for her and her ID". Either way, she just had this very spoiled air about her, was condescending and downright rude. I am a pretty fun server, nothing but fun and games when I work at this place. But I got really tight over this incident. A coworker asked me how my night was going and I spoke of this girl at my table, and I was like, "I hope something bad happens to her, like, I don't know, nothing crazy, like a broken heel and a twisted ankle, nothing serious, maybe a skinned knee, but nothing serious." We laughed, I felt a little better getting it off my chest and I went to check on the table...only to find out that not just a few seconds before i got to the table she had gotten a sudden nose bleed. WHOOPS! I kinda laughed about it, but then I was like, whoa, too much, too soon, too negative, too weird.

So, I am now working on keeping my mind clear of these negative thoughts, which is very hard when you are in an area that is heavily saturated with dark and negative energy. I have done very good things with intention and focus, but this is by far the most instant happening of ill advised energy I have ever seen unfold. The dark side is strong, need to keep away, stay positive, and for Pete's sake, carry some Kyanite!

Zinnwaldite is a new one for me. Feels something like the lithium micas such as lepidolite mica but with a litle more electricity to it. It is sometimes associated with tin, and I think my piece is showing tin or something metallic anyway. This could just be mica however. It does not cleave like mica but is micacious. Anyone else grokking zinnwaldite?

one night this week I dreamt of being healed with crystals from across the room and the crystal energies were exactly as laser beams..a whole bunch of people were al getting healed at the same time us standing in a large circle in a room...I got a picture in my head that the crystal was blue and sounded like tektite..one of the tites and I think one of the stones from the recent pics in the gallery here..a crystal newly discovered...the next night I continue the dream and walk into a crystal shop and a woman there I know knows which stone it is and I remember laying down and her using it on me..not exactly intense like the other dream but I remember she said here it is..and it looked exactly like my chrysocolla that I bought recently and I simulataneously I remember the thread here where we discussed how chrysocolla looks like the world...something powerful about the world..the blues and greens healing...the earth..

Clearing out my negative energies

I am finding more and more I am wanting to clear out my negative energies and behaviors that have been a part of my life.
I have wrote some in my blog on this and will include more later.
But I am trying to work past the OCD behaviors that have held me back.
Wanting to let go and know how to ask for help.
Having to do things a certain way
Having anxiety attacks in crowds
Hoarding because not knowing if I may need something (This one I am working on and getting better at letting go of things)

I was reading that this may stem from past life of not having enough (love, money,food, etc.)
I do not know if this is part of what I am dealing with.
I do know realizing and accepting these faults is part of healing.
But do you have suggestions on crystals that will help me along this healing?

weird energy!?

Hi lovely people!
I've noticed almost my entire adolescent life (I'm 20 now) that often when I walk underneath streetlights, campus lampposts, etc., they go out. I've laughed it off as coincidence for a long time, but it's starting to be just too many incidences. Friday night, I was telling a friend about it, and he laughed, but about 10 seconds later, we walked under a streetlight and it blinked off. I've always been into vampire lit, am a serious introvert and a good listener, but sometimes have a draining effect on people. Is it possible that I have some crazy energy imbalance that this is indicative of? If so, what sort of crystals/processes could be used to diagnose/treat it?

Tibetan Tektite

This is another inquiry along the lines of the discussions concerning Azeztulite ("just quartz") and Andara crystal ("just glass.")
I am one of that large crowd of crystal heads who responds dramatically to the tectite moldavite (just glass) and I am wanting to branch out into other tectites especially the Tibetan tectites which are somewhat scarce. It has now been determined that the tibetan tectites resulted from the same impact event that created the more numerous and less expensive indochinites from SE Asia, yet some sensitives claim that the tibetanites have a grooovier energy perhaps from being exposed to the high vibes of Tibet. I would love to hear from anyone out there who is up on their tectites and their relative energies.

This recent discussion we've been having about Azeztulite on the +++crystals+++ tribe site has reminded me of another "crystal" or rather glass in this case that is somewhat controversial as well and with which I have no experience so far - Andara Glass or Andara Crystal. As with Azeztulite being in the minds of some "just quartz," there are plenty of people who likewise think that Andara is "just glass," and that it is actually just dumped bottle slag with no particular value while there are others who shout its energetic virtues to the moon.
After my recent exposure to Azeztulite which had a unique energy with which I could identify despite its looking like regular old snow quartz, I am now wondering if I should take a chance on Andara - expensive as it is - and try to get some from the genuine source. The story with Andara is similar to the story about Azeztulite having been impregnated with unusual energy. So, let me hear from everybody pro or con. Thanks

I'm in the process of doing an independent study in crystal healing through Fairhaven College. Part of the study, aside from the experiential work, is to evaluate the scientific perspective on the process...oooh, science. I'm not necessarily invested in "proving it scientifically," since I know it works for me, but a quick survey of the scientific literature and public opinion can be really depressing. Anyone out there with links and ideas about scientific support for any sort of energy healing? And aside from that, how do you all deal with the argument when it comes up, when someone tells you it's not real, not scientific, or laughs or says "prove it?"
I certainly seem to have a lot to say all of a sudden. Thanks for reading!

while in tuscon, i had a chance to check out a local gem store........well i found a fossilized horse tooth, a molar it is so weird. i previously had only seen fossilized shark teeth, and had no idea horses were so old....i have known of centaurs being ancient, so i guess it makes sense that horses have been around for quite some time. while meditating with the tooth one night, a few things and impressions kept popping in my head. it seems this tooth strengthens empathy and is very useful for putting yourself into someone elses situations and feelings. it is a great tool for healers and therapists to help figure out the root causes and emotions behind imbalances. while holding it, it seemed like my front teeth were being pushed against my lip like bucked horse teeth would feel. i also felt some strong psychic impressions and information popping in my head. this tooth is one powerful tool that took me on a shamanic type of journey. it was so intense that i had to put it on the end table for awhile to take a break from the intensity.

my question is this, does anyone know any information with regards to horse totem medicine? i am quite curious to hear what type of energies this animal carries.

often when i play with my crystals i get sooooo nauseous, to the point where i feel i have to throw up...is that normal? last night it was so intense that i wondered if it might actually help to throw up, like releasing a block or something....sorry for this yuky topic

Does it make any difference to you around purchasing stones minerals shells etc that you know are being exhausted through over harvesting?

I like to know which stones trees etc are on the scarce list...I also hope we can help protect them by bringing knowledge to people about which things are...so we can become more mindful...

The one thing I have heard about is red coral..though it is lovely..Iam hesitant to buy any...though I have a small natural piece from many years ago...the pieces they find are few and far inbetween thats why they get paid alot for what they do find...
Sad thing is those who need to survive will take and take from the precious stores to keep their family alive...thing is they get the least for it compared to the buyers who will then retail it...

I was in a bead shop in Melbourne a few months ago on my way back from Tasmania and found the 'semi-precious' section. Semi-precious is what people call the affordable crystals with metaphysical properties, I say affordable because I assume that precious crystals like diamonds also have metaphysical properties. Isis quartz crystals

At first you will think this is a talk on strokes, but this person, who had one, goes into great detail about using the right side to get to her nervana and finding inner peace and how buy using your right side more you can spread peace....very interesting to watch, because you expect it to be scientific, but it turns more into a realiztion of energy that we are and produce.

I have always wanted an amazing moonstone and knew one day it would come as will opal...when the timing is ripe..

This passionate desire is hard to put into words..I remember as a child I think it was a tv programme that was about moonstones and traveling across the veiled mists..the witch..but not the black witch stereotype but more the Mists of Avalon herbalist wise woman...the feelings are deep within that these stones really are mystical and magikal..and help transport one to other realms..
I cannot for the life of me remember where this imagery came from..but it sure left it's indelible crystalline energy with me..and I will be scanning my neurons for retrieval? !!

I lost my amazing rainbow moonstone pendant that was handbeaded recently..weird I thought I would have been alot more upset and I was'nt..and I also didnt fully oisten to the little voice that warned me of it's possible loss...or relocation...

Iam hoping soon for some special moonstones to come to me...clear with electric blue and white coming off them...and with presence and rich imaginations of what has gone on before and will continue to,contained within their crystalline matrix...

My companions wears glasses, and his nerves about his eyes and in his head get real tense, he is going to the eye doctor today to see if he needs new glasses, but this is something that he does get at least every couple of months, and when he gets this tention he gets it real bad, each time its gotten more painful, any suggestions for a crystal or stone to relieve his tentions, or would help his eyes or nerves perhaps?

I am reading that it is good for balancing, unblocking chakras, etc. and I'm trying to, like, feel it out, but it is being very stubborn to me and I'm wondering if there is something about it that i am not percieving. Any information is helpful as it may not be very good for me to have around actually, and now that I think about it, if I'm feeling that way, maybe i should....meditate with it a little more.....hmmmmm....hard to part with stubborn rocks...

You brought up a great topic to discuss!!! I have a baby who will need to be weaned shortly here, and like you, kristalina, I produce way too much milk. With my last son I produced milk for 4 years!! (Even though I weaned him at 15 months!!) So my question is, what do you think would be good to help Stop flow, to help ease the emotional distress of not only baby but mommy? So many crystals help to unblock, and get energy flowing, but I don't know of any that would help to create a "new" flow.

crystals and labor

so........any of you fellow mamas, during your labor....what crystals were around you? did you feel drawn to wear certain crystals towards the end of your pregnancy? a good friend of mine, as i type, is starting her labor with her second child. this reminded me that i should share what i know about crystals and labor. through my meditations, i was led to the idea that i need to be of assistance to women going through labor with my crystals.

to trigger a labor if you are overdue: i have a malachite/azurite necklace that i pass on to women here on the island that are in the last week of their pregnancies. so far everytime i have passed the necklace on, labor has started within 2 days. i figured this out while pregnant with my first child, as soon as i put the necklace on i started to have cramping.....imediately, i take the necklace off and the cramping stops. (i just gave it to my friend 1 1/2 days ago)

for strength during labor: snakeskin agate seems to do the trick. smokey quartz points pointing from your feet down can bring you some grounding through the roller coaster ride, and smokey quartz pointing down towards your head would help you relax. for the pain, a bath with a dioptase crystal really helps.

after the birth, wearing a moonstone necklace will help to balance the hormonal changes happening.....also using a rhodonite tincture in a sitz bath speeds the healing of any cuts incredibly fast.

thats all i can think of right now......just wondering what crystal experiences any of you have had during labor, pregnancy and after.....
