Greetings unto the fighters of the North and South Oaken regions,

For the past three years, I have issued the Oaken Ironman Challenge. The number of brave men and women who rise to the challenge has grown every year, assuring their place in history.

For one last time, I am putting forth the challenge!
This will be your last opportunity to distinguish yourself on the field of battle--and complete your Oaken Ironman set!

The conditions of the challenge should be familiar:
come fight for the glorious Kingdom of the Middle in every mass war point battle offered. There are 6 opportunities to take the field for your King and Queen this year:

* Great Wall Battle
* Open Field Battle (x3)
* Woods Battle
* River (bridge) Battle

Note that the Castle Battles on Monday are not war point battles, so they are not included in the challenge. However, you are encouraged to fight in these battles, if you are able.

Those stout men and women from the Oaken Regions who do so in the capacity of armored fighter, combat archer, marshal, scout, waterbearer, chirurgeon, or any combination thereof will be awarded a distinctive token that heralds them as an Oaken Ironman. I have commissioned a unique token to be worn about the neck.

Prepare yourselves, sons and daughters of the Dragon!

This Pennsic promises to hold countless deeds of valor! Motivate yourself and your friends to take up this challenge! Spread the word far and wide across the North and South Oaken Regions, let no able-bodied warrior miss the chance to win glory for themselves, their Inspiration and their Kingdom!
