A sailing ship leaving europe, packed with creativity, self-organization and lots of worthy personal traits of the about 15 people strong crew..

Heading for Latin America - the path as the destination!

Migrobirdo means "migrating bird" in Esperanto, the international understanding language. And accordingly the groups understanding of themselves is that of a traveling intermediary.

Travelling in Latin America the crew will create connections between people who are politically and artistically active, subsistence farmers and social institutions. It will also hold seminars, perform street entertainment sessions and will invite guests onto the boat.

Especially important is the working together with the local people to create a program in which experiences and knowledge can be exchanged. So, meetings with NGOs, local initiatives and action groups, individuals, institutions as well as the execution of Seminars will characterize the day.

Everybody is pupil and teacher at the same time. Equality and openness are most important. The events are open to all irrespective of age, sex, race and revenue.
