funny thing is I haven't met anyone with Mars-North Node hard aspects yet.I wonder why? lol Do they have a low survival rate?

What is the point of Mars on the North Node, anyway? What are the differences from aspect to aspect?

    >>Do they have a low survival rate?<<

LOL!!!! Not as low as Pluto cj NN ... am reading for someone now who has that one, wondering what I'm gonna say :P

Mars cj NN (interestingly, not one I've seen either) or in some way beneficently aspecting the NN means there will be more motivating force to embody that point in a native's chart. Squares, inconjuncts (quincunxes) and oppositions ( guess the latter is more obvious cuz it's then on the SN) between Mars and NN pull one away from embodying that point/style/energy. Whatever Mars touches, it catalyzes and activates.

Hope that helps. Good to see you popping out again, MR :-)

"in some way beneficently aspecting the NN"

In astrology, "beneficent" means 'kind' or 'friendly' aspects. I was indicating trines and sextiles. "Maleficent" means hard, i.e. squares, inconjuncts, oppositions.

"more motivating force to embody that point in a native's chart"

Mars=motivating force. Embodying one's North Node means to engage with what we are drawn toward. If I have a Virgo NN (which I do) I am embodying Virgo energy when I am in healer mode, or in some sort of service to someone, just as two examples.

"Squares, inconjuncts (quincunxes) and oppositions ( guess the latter is more obvious cuz it's then on the SN) between Mars and NN pull one away from embodying that point/style/energy."

the latter=opposition. If Mars is opposing the North Node, it is conjunct the South Node. If I had Mars square or quincunx my North Node, I would not as easily be able to embody (engage with) the energy of that point.

"Whatever Mars touches, it catalyzes and activates. "

Mars "touching" a planet means it aspects that planet.

It would have felt kinder to me if you'd simply asked me to explain.

        P.

Oh, and Pluto cj NN = to allow oneself to embody or be drawn out to engage with the energies of one's North Node, one will have to be willing to go through some sort of death/rebirth in that arena of life in order to embody their NN and not get stuck in their SN - thus the "low(er) survival rate" in my LOL remark.

I have Mars and North Node chilling in 4th on the cusp of Pisces. My 12th house holds Saturn conjunct with Neptune. Venus is also there. I really would love to have a greater understanding my chart, but in the subject of astrology I am still an infant.

I forgot to mention that when I was 4 years old I got hit by a motorcycle and was rushed to the hospital. Around the age of 6 I came very close to death by drowning in a pool. Not sure if this has anything to do with my 4th house. I’m Happy to be alive!

think about when Saturn was placed, when you were at 6.

I am Libra When Saturn lied in Libra, I got stitches on my face.
when Saturn in Pisces(7-8th in my chart), I went through death, birth, marriage around me.

There are many elements that cause the accidents in life- see, Michael Jackson, Princess Diana...

Tracking down the Saturn order in your past is the first thing we can do to briefly understand major happenings.

I have this conjunction.. in the first house.. it's the only major aspect I have to the NN... in Virgo..

I don't really know what it's done for me..Except it seems to me that I work for what I want with a lot of energy..untill i get it..and the work transforms me on some level.

I have Mars opposite the North Node. My Mars is in my first house, conjunct my South Node. Oh, my Sun is in the 7th House, conjunct my North Node.

    Yes, I am a survivor....but I'm transforming from a Warrior into a Wizard. ;-) Hopefully. ;-D
