South node about to cross natal Mars in 1st...

Hi guys, can someone help me with any kind of insight into what might happen when the south node hits my Mars in Leo in the 1st? the house is ruled by 27 Cancer....could something or someone be taken out of my life?...im a bit worried about my dad actually.
