Moria will be teaching her sought-after MUSIC THEORY class.
with additional focus on building the look of the character that
you are creating when you dance...a more in depth look at
costuming style, color choices, make-up and hair that all builds
on the message you're sending through your dance.
Also, dance practice, drills and
choreography with props and how to dance WITH your prop as a partner.

It will be more of a Dance and Music Theology class than a technical Music Theory class, as that's more of what Issam teaches and is quite technical about rhythm organization and such. This will be more of a bridge between music, interpretation, staging, costuming and props as integrated to give a particular message. We will incorporate Jungian depth psychology as it pertains to archetypes and a lot of Martha Graham ideology. This is my favorite stuff to talk about! Can't wait to see you all there! -

Saturday 12-4:30 (includes a 30 minute break): DANCE AND MUSIC THEOLOGY: This will bridge between music, interpretation, staging, costuming and props as integrated to give a particular message. We will incorporate Jungian depth psychology as it pertains to archetypes and a lot of Martha Graham ideology.
Sunday 12-4:30 (includes a 30 minute break): We get down to business with dance practice, drills and choreography with props and how to dance WITH your prop as a partner.
For both days of classes (that's 8 hours of classes!) is $120
One day (one class) is $75
Saturday night there will be an all-star show featuring Moria, Gypsy Hands, Bodhicitta (of Nashville) and more to be announced. Location TBA.
