This event will be one for the records. These students will be telling their great-grandchildren about the day they received feed back from directing legends Alfred Hitchcock and Stanley Kubrick. All three celebrities gave advice to these future filmmakers that will result in artistic success. Hitchcock talked about the importance of creating a cameo for yourself in your films, Kubrick gave advice about incorporating unique angles into the film, and Gundry gave valuable advice on different shooting techniques.

As everyone was filtering out the comments were flowing. I overheard some theatre students’ (one of which stared in one of the short films) who were blown away with the films. I heard one of them ask, “Why don’t the film classes team up with the acting classes? We could totally use the experience AND the exposure.“ Today’s event have been a worthwhile experience. We hope to see these films on the NAU UTV62 in the near future. Have a great day everyone!
