Hello all. I created this tribe so people could talk about their experiences with the Munay-Ki as well as ask questions. I have had 6 of the rites so far and looking forward to getting the last 3 in the next couple of months. My experiences with them so far have been profound. After the first set of them I had the feeling of having another layer of conscious added to me. The phrase "having decisions informed by the Munay-KI" made a lot more sense to me. Now, whenever I would have a decision to make in my life, I can tune in to this new part of myself that gives me pretty clear advice. The Munay-Ki opens up new parts of your brain.

Another interesting thing is the continued presence of a group of old shamans around me. I am not always aware of them but can tune in to them at anytime. Sometimes they appear spontaneously. I was doing massage and energy work on my partner when I looked into a candle flame nearby. Immediately I became aware of these elders and energy came out of the flame and through my arm into her shoulder which she has problems with. It was distinctly different than the Reiki energy that I had been channeling. Shortly after that she said "that was the munay-ki wasn't it?". :-) Her shoulder, while not healed completely has been a lot better since that.

Another thing that has changed for me is an elimination of my anxiety about the future. Generally I am a pretty fearless person, though I have been experiencing some anxiety about the near future. Personally I see the possibility of things getting quite ugly in our country, both economically and politically. I've expended a lot of energy studying this and creating future scenarios where me and my family are safe from hardship. Now I feel totally at ease. I can still see the storms coming but I feel an umbrella of protection around me. That whatever may happen I will make it through. The 8th rite is said to anchor you to the time after the great change which is going to be in 2012. I believe it!

Overall I'm very excited. I feel very high and that these changes in me are accelerating and blossoming. I am looking forward to seeing all of the ways that it will unfold. In April when I've received the final one, I will be able to give them out and I am excited about that as well. I will post up here with any new developments and look forward to hearing your stories!
