I was at the mutaytor show the night of the burn.i saw this amazing goddess of dance! she was wearing black white and pink and dancing on the right side of the stage during the songs .I saw this amazing woman preform the sickest dance moves ever and i would just like to say wow! Thank you so much . My name is hardcore pippi and i throw dance battles at 2am at 2 oclock and i tell people all day, that if they want to see or come and dance or know some one who would like to dance it out, to be there! at the end of the week we have about 15 or so good ass dancers from all over the playa and we were talking about who we saw that could work it. Who we thought had mad skills ... to make a long story shorter ..... we saw this girl all over the playa and all voted for the same girl all great dancers that said they have never seen any one work it like her and that she won the award for Best dancer on the playa this year ! if any one knows this girl please let her know! This was amazing to watch thank you so much for your skills! loved it ! Dose any one have a vid of this preformance?

Re: wow how amazing was that?
Thu, September 11, 2008 - 8:47 AMI saw, well HEARD my first tastes of live Mutaytor on I think it was Thurs night at the Red Nose. My only issue was that it was with performance, and the music was way too low I could barely hear it, and I couldnt see ANYTHING. That area is not conducive for a crowd gathering. I personally have a hard time watching people perform and just standing there. I was hoping for a full on Mutaytor experience that I cuold see. I do love Mutaytors music and it sounded REALLLY cool.....but I couldnt interact with anything, just stood there like someone trying to fight my way into the cue. Not that fun, I left fairly quickly, but like I said I really loved what I heard and I hope next year I can scout out a performance thats more up my alley that I can actually FEEL instead of spectate from very afar. -

Thu, September 11, 2008 - 1:41 PMI'm gonna second that the perfomance on Burn Night rocked my socks off. Great sound, great dancing, Mutaytor had some of the best music on the playa. Props to the clowns with Gooferman too, they had an awesome funky show right beforehand and between the two it really made my night. I couldn't stop moving my booty for a couple hours.
As for the girl you're talking about, do you mean she was IN Mutaytor or she was just next to the stage?

Re: wow how amazing was that?
Thu, September 11, 2008 - 5:15 PMWow, I was way up front that night, and have to say it SUCKED to be told I have to sit down and not dance to Mutaytor. I think having a stage that low was the problem....no-one could see, but man...to have to SIT through a Mutaytor performance and not dance is like some cruel form of torture. We bailed about an hour into the performance because my legs had gone to sleep sitting, and some guy with a hat full of sharp metal spikes kept poking me and my girl with it (not intentionally, but my nerve endings do not care about intention).
I LOVE mutaytor, but I will never sit down for them again.....

Re: wow how amazing was that?
Fri, September 26, 2008 - 1:32 AMMan, I totally hear ya, and know how frustrating it must have been to sit. But with so many people in the back and outside the tent, it really made a lot of people's night to be able to see the show, so for what it's worth, thanks to everyone who had to sit during the set.
Next time we'll return to outdoor stages that we can have people all around on the open playa.
Much love and thanks for supportin us
