i believe some of the suggestions so far have been: Burnt Toast, OR FUN, Flotsam and Jetsam, Lampyri Days, and of course just keeping it Shipwrecked.

I'd be happy if we could continue to use Shipwrecked too, simply because of the name recognition. However, the name has *some* negativity tied to it. I'll be talking with Jim about it though. It was my understanding that Shipwrecked is listed with the state of Missouri as an LLC now. Just to give it a fresh start, a new name might be beneficial.

Re:Burnt Toast...Yeah, it's too close to Toast! in Arizona. I had forgotten, if only briefly, about their burn. Hmmm.

You'd want to name it something nobody else is using, something unique and easy to remember. In keeping with the pirate theme, I looked up pirate words and phrases on the Internet to find something unique.

I'd like to nominate the name "Picaroon." According to various websites, it means a pirate, a pirate ship, a smartass poem about pirates, or simply behaving like a pirate. Wikipedia says it's also the name of a minor bad guy in Star Wars. I think it's a fun word. I can't find any other event by that name. (It's from the Spanish word for "rascal," which seems appropriate.)

I understand the reason behind names like shipwrecked/castaway with an orphan burn and all that, but it would be nice to have something that reflects our location. I do love me some pirates, but we are kind of landlocked :)
