People living in areas frequently impacted by earthquakes, forest fires, tornadoes, hurricanes, floods and ice storms have learned to expect nature's unpredictability in their lives, but most Americans are not ready for an unexpected unnatural disaster. Like it or not, the recent global terrorism on American soil clearly shows that we live in a changed world.
When we are prepared for the unexpected, we can move through danger with the confidence that we've done all we can and that whatever happens, we've done our best.
