I was watching WLKY news today and they showed Mystic Hips Belly Dancing at Mardis Gras Louisville from two years ago for a teaser before a commercial, then when they talked about Mardi Gras they showed Ruric dancing and went back to our two year old clip, Boy was Mystic Hips Shocked!!! There we were all in our green and gold and purple.
This is a photo of the clip. Grotesque Burlesque, Kynt, and Vyxin were also there. Good times.

I was browsing bellydance videos on YouTube yesterday and saw one of my Cincinnati friends doing a veil dance (she moved away a few months ago). Right off, I noticed she was dancing with one of my veils that she had purchased about 5 years ago! I remember it because I personally thought it was ugly and would never sell! As soon as she saw it, she fell in love with it! It was the first veil I sold that day! :)
It was nice to see one of my veils on a video. (Funny though I'm on YouTube dancing w/one of my veils and I'm not near as excited as seeing someone else dance with one!) LOL

Thu, January 24, 2008 - 4:58 PMI had seen a photo posted here on tribe of a belly dancer in a pearl bra that I made and sold on evil bay. I wrote her and it was the one I made. I was Surprised then too! HAAA!
Talk about being somewhere at exactly the right moment! And I never watch daytime tv but my father had it on. Yea Pop!
