I was here for belly dance networking at first. Then I found all these other wonderful fun tribes and friends. Now I am here to be silly, laugh and keep connections with said friends. =)

It's been over a year now...
I was actually doing a Google search on my friend Leigh Ann Hussy, a leader in the SFBA community and a local musican/singer in several bands including Nuit and Anwyn.
Anyways, she had recently died in a motorcycle accident and wanted to know about her and her life.
The search led me here to a chat regarding her on one of Tribes, and the rest is history...
So you can thank her for me being here :-)

Originally it was a place for a large group of friends of us to have a private place to "meet", share, chat & pray/good thought for one another...

Thu, May 15, 2008 - 10:39 AMI knew it was here for a couple of years because I'd go to some of the bellydance tribes for info on upcoming events, and I thought it was great and very hip, but I never joined it or any SN site (except just to sign up so I could follow other people's links when given) until for some reason last June, I guess I googled something and that led to a link on Tribe and I suddenly realized there were all kinds of spiritual tribes here so I signed up. And was addicted by the end of the month. Strangely, I hardly even look at the spiritual tribes any more, but instead hang on places like this. Tribe corrupted me, hahaha! -

Then I discovered that there are cool people like you-all. most of the time tribe is a fun distraction from everyday life. Sometimes it is like high school part II
