Sun, May 4, 2008 - 11:02 AMMy Mom left us Oct 25 2004. She died laughing, really. She had slipped down the stairs (the start of her heart attack) but swore she was ok, they were joking about calling an ambulance for her. I was in SF at my oldest daughter graduation.

Mon, May 5, 2008 - 8:32 AMMy mom passed Oct. 21 2007, Dad in 2000. My son, who was 27, passed August 15th 2005.
I'm treating myself to a trip to the ocean next weekend starting Sunday. My daughter will have to work on Sunday anyway.

Mon, May 5, 2008 - 9:39 AMSince I lost my mom four years ago, we always do something she would have enjoyed and remember her. It is really nice. I have no idea what we are doing this year for Mother's day. Probably more yard work. I think I will demand ice cream though. HA! -

Tue, May 6, 2008 - 3:15 PMI will plant a daphne by my front patio. That is what she and I always did at our houses. She died three years ago. My dad died in 1992. I miss them every spring....
My son isn't coming home for mother's day. He's at college and I'll be shipping home for a beach trip we are taking in two weeks....

I'll be making my mom some type of granny thing as a joke.... she's jumping from having 1 grandchild to having 5!!! by the end of the year... (I have a lot of siblings and we are all apparently very fertile!)
She has a rough time with the Grandma name so she likes to be called "Nonny", even tho it's Italian for Grandma and we're not Italian... :D hahahahaha....
I like to bring her some nice flowers too... you know all that "thanks for giving birth to me stuff, even tho I made you wait extra long in the middle of a July heat wave..." :D :D :D I am soo asking for it... (being due in August myself...) =p
