Why has the news media decided that we have the slightest interest in what's going on with the dumb, trouble making, constantly needing attention young starlets? Don't they have "REAL" news to report???? I don't watch a lot of regular tv sitcomes, reality shows, etc. I prefer the history channel, A&E (at times but they are putting garbage on too), Discovery, Animal Planet, and the news. But now it's getting to where the news is garbage too! I don't care what Britney Spears is doing in her personal life! I don't care how many times Lindsey, and Nicole go to rehab! I don't care who Paris is dating or how she feels about going to jail! This is not news to me!

And where do some of these reporters get these stupid questions??????? This morning Matt Laurer asked the grandmother of the missing British girl if she had asked her daughter and son-in-law whether they were telling the truth about their daughter's dissapearance!!!! I would have told him "Are you stupid?" Why would you ask that question on TV to someone's grandmother/mother?????

I'm afraid that with the Today Show going to 4 hours of broadcasting they are just going to be reporting on more junk!!!!! If I wanted garbage I would buy the tabloids! I expect the TV news to be more serious and report on what's important!!!
