So has anybody here gone someplace in the middle of the desert just to be naked?... Now, I'm not talking in some group sense, or like at Burning Man (although it's fun)... I'm talking about a small road trip by yourself or with one or two others... Going to some barren part of the desert...Packing a lunch and getting bare under the desert sun... Maybe even a little debauchery, but mostly just being outdoors in the wide open space... Even taking a casual hike while there...
My girl and I did this last summer and it was great... Not only was the sex really awesome... But it felt so "right" to be out there naked and one with nature...
Anybody else done that or think it's a fun activity?

Sounds like a GREAT plan! I have done this in the forrest...and I think I will again, as soon as it warms up! and my honey gets home.....
Maybe we will do it in the rain......that could be fun too!

I love to be naked in nature anywhere, but cannot resist the chance to dip in wilderness lakes, streams, oceans... Floating on my back, ears below the surface so the loudest sound I hear is my own heartbeat, looking up at a sky possibly ringed with tree-tops... This is my church, the most spiritually fulfilling practice I have found to date. Like being back in the womb.
Air drying afterwards in the warm sunshine is fun too. -

Yes, I hear you, the floating naked inwater, hearing nothing but your heart beat.....
This is what I did when I gave birth to my princess....to relieve the labor pains, I would float, ears submerged, focusing real hard on my sounds, the steady rhythm of breath, heart beat, and my inner self asking me what the F*&K I was doing!!!!!!
I wasn't outside, but my room had many windows, and my house was in the midst of the redwood forest, adjacent to the pigmy forests of Mendocino County......
So, I was naked for more than three days for this to occur.....and the only reason I got dressed for another two weeks, was to go for her well baby check!
Oh, by the way, she was born naked....... -

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!!!! You are hitting that nail on the head!
She is nine, going on twenty three......thankfully she actually likes wearing clothes these days, but, well......
I was born naked too, and, well, WATCH OUT!!!!! I was the craziest teenager around....and well, some might call me an adult, but that might be stratching it quite a bit!!!!
ahhhhhhhhhh....anyone ran around in this storm naked yet? I think I will do it tonight.....there are no street lights or electricity in my neighborhood, so it might be fun to streak through the night and light up the place! An early full moon!!! -

Tue, January 3, 2006 - 8:08 PMmmm... naked in a storm. Last time for me was from my little cabin while working as a wilderness ranger in the Cascades. We needed the rain so bad, I had been playfully fluting and dancing for it earlier that day. When it started thundering that night, I could not resist going out, despite the threat of lightning, positively celebrating the ensuing downpour... hope your own evening was just as fun.
Some of us (fellow Outward Bound instructors) are going up to the Hostel in the Forest tomorrow night, so we are looking forward to a skinnydip in their spring-fed lake. I can hardly wait! -

Wed, January 4, 2006 - 1:56 PMWell for New Year's my lifepartner and I drove to a remote location along the Colorado River... It was fabulous!!!... We stripped naked and ran about the desert freely and it felt soooo wonderful!!!... Rolling around in the sand, feeling it between our toes... I wish we were able to share with more people... But it was fun nontheless!!!

Wed, March 15, 2006 - 2:42 PMYes, hiking in the Hart Mtn Nat'l Antelope Reserve Naked, naked kayaking, naked in the storms... running for the hot tub!! Naked by the fire, naked dinner.... it's easier not to spill on your clothes that way!
Luckily I am surrounded by nature, and escape mostly into nature... Hummm wonder about a naked Trader Joes Trip??? Exciting Adventure awaits!
Me & my friends are naked most weekends at the rivers around here. Oh and it is time for topless skiing! Whoo Hooooo! -

I agree with the dinner thing, why dress for dinner when you can UNdress? ;o)

Sun, February 25, 2007 - 8:44 PMI didn't go there just to be naked, but I went backpacking in Badlands National Park with a friend a few years ago. We were out there for five days, with one trip back to the car in the campground for water. Once we were a half-mile or so from the campground, we never saw any other people. I spent most of the time out there naked. It wasn't nearly as hot as I expected; only in the mid-80's. It was awesome being able to go for dayhikes with just a camera, a Nalgene, and a compass in my fanny-pack, which I carried, rather than wore.

Sat, January 3, 2009 - 11:21 AMI have hiked naked in the desert, along the beach, in the forest and yes, in the rain is fantastic. Just the freedom and the warm sun on the body is so nice. Going into a lake or standing in a waterfall is such a wonderful experience.

Sun, January 11, 2009 - 2:02 PMIt sounds like a great idea. The closest I got was walking all day through the dunes at Maspalomas, Gran Canaria, October 2007. I walked for miles wearing just sandals and sunglasses. Occasionaly I saw naked people in "nests" having sex. There were other nudists just walking around like I was too. I was on my own, but on my last day I was invited into a nest for sex! Very nice it was too!

Fri, February 13, 2009 - 7:12 AMI have done this and it is great. There are really so many places to go all over Nevada and you can just enjoy the sun on your body and no one around who cares. I like to get out and hike the desert naked as often as I can.

Mon, February 16, 2009 - 8:49 AMOther than Burning Man, my girl and I took a jeep about a hour outside Cabo on one vacation, drove it onto a totally deserted beach that stretched about five miles wide, and stayed they all day without clothes on. It was very fun, sensual and liberating!
