Re: Pictures.
Sat, June 28, 2008 - 2:37 PMYay a nalbinding community! I was searching for nalebinding, no wonder I couldn't find the place ;)
I've gotten into nalbinding since the JORVIK festival here in York back in February, so far all I've made is a wrist cuff (out of my own handspun yarn, no less!). Here's the link to my posting in deviantART: onela.deviantart.com/art/adv...84407818
I've also done some really wacky samples to experiment with increases and decreases and stuff like that, but nothing that notable or photogenic. I'm hoping my first 'real' nalbinding project will be a pair of half mitts for a friend- she picked up a pair at said festival that she can't wear due to an allergic reaction to the wool, so she's gifted them to me and I shall be making her a like but most likely not exact the same pair from cotton or some other non-protien fibre.
Excited to contribute to this group in the future! :) -

Mon, June 30, 2008 - 12:54 PMNice. I never thought of making cuffs; will have to try that in copper fiber.
But then again, I am stuck on the rug thing anyway.
