The Canada you used to know is still there. It is just hidden under a lot of legalize that we the people have accepted as truth.

Most of our inalienable rights have been repackaged and then returned to us as privileges. Which of course, dummies that we are, have accepted. Once the masses realize this, then we can regain the authority over the men and women that WE elected.

Our elected officials only do and get away with what WE allow them to do and get away with. In the absence of our input they will continue to do what they do. As the saying goes "for evil to exist.... god men need do nothing" and don't we do an excellent job of doing nothing?

As for motivation. Consider the riots in downtown Vancouver when Guns and Roses failed to arrive for their show. Compare that to the huge amount of our tax dollars stolen for the sponsorship scandal. NOTHING! not a peep out of the taxpayer, not a peep out of guns and roses fans zippo. Now if you were in office what message would you get from that? Had that happened in south America there would have been riots in every major city.
