More and more dancer’s are pushing the boundaries of Belly Dance as they combine (fuse) other dance forms such as Hip Hop, Bollywood, Flamenco, Polynesian, and modern Dance with Middle Eastern Dance.
How have these new styles evolved? What are the factors that have inspired their rise?
How much does the new style owe to the traditional Middle Eastern Dance form?
And most importantly, how far can a dancer go before what she’s doing stops being Middle Eastern Dance?
