Of the 7 books, which is your favorite? Why?

Fri, September 8, 2006 - 9:34 PMI liked them all but the first one has always been my favorite. I'm not sure exactly why... I really like all the characters in this one and it seems the most magical. Lewis has a wonderful child like tone for the narrator that I don't feel as strongly in the others. It's just fun with enough sad to be great.

I think it's because of the very idea of just getting on a sailing ship and sailing off into unknown waters, not knowing what you will find.. it stirs the explorer in my soul... so to speak... -

i loved the rings,
the inbetween world
with the still wood & deep pools,
the dawn creation of narnia,
& the magical fruit & garden ..

it is a very rich tale ..
