This last Saturday some of us embarked on a mission... a mission for the betterment (or at least entertainment) of womankind in fandom. Yes, we are proactively seeking equality in nudity and thus, in this twisted line of thinking, was born the project entitled "Scantily Clad Men of SciFi/Fantasy" or SCMSFF.

This project aims to produce a montage of all the best scenes (in our PoV) of men lacking pants in Science Fiction and Fantasy. It will take the most memorable scenes of excellently-physiqued men losing (or having lost) their trousers from SciFi/Fantasy movies and TV shows. We will shamelessly assemble this collection of legs, derrieres, and strategically placed objects into a short that no fan who appreciates the artwork of the male body shall ever forget.

At this point, we have a few suggestions for songs and many suggestions for shows, episodes, movies, scenes, et cetera. We will rely on the democratic process and the creativity of everyone involved to develop this historic(?) music video.

The end of the short will have the usual credits. The short will be achieved with the technical expertise and wizardry of our Gerry T. For this reason we hope to incorporate in the credits his timely quote "The reason we're helping you is that a woman turned on enough will resort to even us!" We do love our geeks, nerds, and fans.

As you see, there is much work to be done. So friends, I am calling upon you to search through your collection and find your favorite movies or episodes with men suffering from pantloss. Write down the scene both by description and by time/location in the show. Send that information to me. I will compile and pass a list of all the collected scenes to Gerry. Be ready to lend us your copy of that show! After we sort through the multitudinous possibilities, us ladies of ORAC will work closely with Gerry (as close as Sandy allows) to turn this vision into a reality.

Technical note: This is supposed to be no more than R rated, so full monties are out (this version). Clothing, bedsheets, et cetera are acceptable IF it covers no more than would traditional boxer shorts (preferably less).
