hey sue, i just went to my first nd at a place called SOMA, on portrero hill (i think) in sf. i saw dr. amy day (i think that was the last name). i really liked talking with her, but wasn't especially impressed by the visit as i have the same kind of problems you mentioned and she didn't give me any new pieces to the puzzle. but what i DID find late last night was something called women to women, a clinic in portland me that has a great website. i've sent them an email and in reading their site finally found the missing pieces to my health puzzle that i've been looking for for about 5 or 6 years. they have an awesome website; you can ask medical questions or browse their extensive database of articles. and i think they do recommendations if you want someone near you so you might give that a try. i would definitely recommend visiting the website though. womentowomen.com. hope this helps.
