By invoking the ancient traditions of call and response forums, drum circles, barter spaces, and the new ways
of the open mic, performance stage, movie screening, webcast culture and more we become the living reflection
of the State Of The Art.
This event originated in Los Angeles on the birthday of its founder, Change. SOTA returns orbit in Charlotte, NC.
If you are an artist with original works your admission is free and selling/bartering your works at the event is also free.
No one is turned away for lack of funds from this event.
We host Open:
-Mic-Stage-Runway with optional musical accompaniement and hip-hop group freestyle forum (non-competitive)
-Open Screenings of original video works
-Open Gallery
-All-inclusive drum circles and much more....
If you'd like your performance archived for release on webcast or for our compilation CD(of which ALL your copyrights will be protected/respected and you'll be partnered in distribution) then 13MOONS Records will bring you on board.
We are currently seeking multi-lingual co-hosts (women especially encouraged). If you have any art and would like to make our roster as a contributing artist for our gallery, stage, or screenings contact 13MM@care2.com and you'll be promptly responded to.
