I loved Equilibrium, which is why was I was excited about Ultraviolet despite it seeming just another over the top superchick flick. After a viewing I thanked god I hadn’t wasted a cent to watch it.

It is unequivocally one of the worst movies I have ever seen. If they spliced five minutes of Violet’s different outfits and poses then it would make some decent geek soft porn. Other then that it was a piece of toxic waste.

The special effect driven fantasy tech novelty wasn’t enough to overcome the bitterness of its sloppy, inconsistent, imbalanced, and unrealistic use. As for the acting, I didn’t even notice if there was any, as I was too caught up in the badly structured formulaic plot.

This movie is bad in so many ways that you should only watch it if you want to punish yourself, or if you lack any sci-fi cinematic taste.
