I'm looking for copper sulfate to do some brass etching. Unfortunately, the most common source of copper sulfate, root killer, is no longer sold in the Bay area due to the harm it was doing in mass quantities to the wildlife in the bay.
Do you know of a local Bay area source for copper sulfate? Thanks in advance!

Tue, April 22, 2008 - 5:00 PMHey Justin, what technique are you using to etch brass? (I'm attempting something similar but I am stymied by a limited recollection of chemistry). :)
