Shannon and I refitted the hydraulics and hooked it up to the new engine in the haul last night. Went for a spin about 10:00 ,sort of odd to drive in the rain instead of the dust.
I fired the trash boiler on Sunday with no problems and ran it up to 50lb. I will run it at 25 at the makers fair as all the whistles and other stuff runs fine at that pressure.
We could really use help with wood work, as Shannon and I are beating ourselves to death with the workload.
The Boiler needs to be lagged and the haul needs to have some wood cut to cover the modifications. Lots of cleaning and painting too.

Re: Haul update
Fri, May 9, 2008 - 3:42 PMWhat kind of woodworking are you looking for?
I had a lot of fun with you folks at Makers Faire (I'm with Legion Fantastique) and would like to help where I can. I have a lot of odd experience/skills that could be of use.

Re: Haul update
Sat, May 10, 2008 - 12:44 PMA lot of cutting and fitting, I want to lag the accumulator of the "Trash Boiler" and this requires fitting strips of wood around the pipes.
Congradulations to Maker Faire for providing a lathe and assistance in fabricating a shaft seal for the Boiler's pump, otherwise it would have been out of commision on Sunday.
