New Me in 12 weeks - Part 2

Ok, for those of you who have decided to take up the challenge, well done for choosing to commit to making some real changes in your life =) and here is week 2 of questions...

For those of you who are still interested but haven't done anything about it, its not too late!!! Just go check out week 1 questions in Heather's thread "New Me in 12 weeks - Part 1". This is a wonderful way to make a commitment to yourself to TAKE ACTION on some of the things you keep telling yourself you'll do, but don't... and hey, how often do you find yourself looking at an opportunity to make some changes for the better, and how often do you think to yourself "Yeah, thats nice, I'd like to try it, but I just don't have the time (or some other excuse)" and how often do you find yourself telling yourself reasons why you can't do something that deep down in yourself you know you would be making a significant change for the better? Wishing, hoping and waiting are nice, but they are only thinking and dreaming... not doing... and taking action is what really counts in the end... not procrastination! So if you are a fence-sitter on this one, do yourself a favour and break the habit of procrastination! What is it costing you to put off doing things that are important to you? Do you find that you become more overwhelmed as time goes by and you STILL haven't done anything about it? By taking action on one small thing, and by getting into a HABIT of taking action on smaller things, just imagine how much easier it will become to take action when it comes to something bigger and important? Habits need to be formed by taking consistent action... so why not start here and now? Here is a GREAT opportunity to invest some time and energy into your most important asset - YOU!

Anyway, here is week 2! I am blogging my own experiences and progress, and I would encourage you to do the same, or at least keep a personal journal to track your own progress and feelings.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

We trust you have taken the time to answer last week's questions - what are you noticing about your life and the results you're getting?

As your Life Coach this is what I would like to ask you this week -

1. What is working in your life?
2. What isn't working in your life?
3. On a scale of 1 to 10, how couragous do you believe you are in terms of the decisions you make to live an extraordinary life??
4. If you were a "ten", what would you be doing?
5. Who is on your team, who champions and supports you? Who do you need/want on your team?
6. What "stories" do you have about why you haven't achieved all your goals yet? What do you tell yourself about why you can't achieve your goals?
7. Who has been the biggest influences in your life to date? What did they teach you, either through example or rules?
8. How committed are you to achieving an extraordinary life?
9. Describe for me your definition of any extraordinary life for you - and give me details - how it looks, feels, sounds and what you tell yourself in this extraordinry life
10. Have you been living as if this is a dress rehearsal? If it wasn't what would need to change? Today!

Did you know that everything that happens in your life is shaping you - not because of what happens, but because of what you tell yourself about the event, what choices you make because of the event and how you move forward from the event - it's not the events in your life that shape you, but the meaning you give them and the choices you make.

How have you shaped your life so far?

If you could give yourself a fresh start today, what would you do differently?

Again, Thank you, Shell, for sharing and bringing us through this sometimes daunting process...

    1) what is working: motivating myself; finding others to work with (finally)
    2) what isn't working: *staying* motivated consistently
    3) how corageous am I? For some reason lately I've gotten less corageous. I think because it is an anticipation of a previous failure. BUT it wasn't a failure!! It was a perfect learning experience. So - at this point I am a 6, but am working toward being a 10.
    4) If I was a ten i would be quitting my job and finding other smaller and very part things to supplement my income so that I can work on stabilizing my dream; and very soon create a position in which I am making money at what I strive to do...
    5) Whos is on my team that supports me right now is my husband James and my friend Beny - James is moral support and Beny is motivational/collaboration support. Who I want on my team is Josiah, EQlateral, and Waater.
    6) The fact that I have felt like I am trying to pull my weight all on my own and am not finding competent and motivated people who seriously want to collaborate. I need to abo,ish that mentality, and AS OF THIS MOMENT I DO.
7)Biggest influence: honestly, my parents' fear influenced me to be much stronger, braver, action-oriented, and successful than they have ever been.
    8) I am 110% commited to living an extraordinary life. I believe it is possible and I believe I deserve it.

    9) In my perfect life I am living purely for inspiring and being inspired. I feel happy and motivated every day because I help people accomplish their goals and dreams (even sometimes help them to realize what those are). I live a relaxed life - one without stress or time constraints on a regular basis. I have plenty of time for creativity in my own work and in promoting our business. Our business, Art Haven is completely self-sufficient. Lots of people have jumped on board to make sure that Art Haven continues to work for them. It is a collaboration and there are many skillful and experienced people involved in all aspects of creating their own business, while investing a genuine interest in promoting the success of Art Haven itself. Art Haven's success of several years prompts the spread of many Art haven's which become artistic 'communes'.

    10) What I need to change is COURAGE and FAITH.
