Hello all. I am yet another shiny newbie, waiting with baited breath to learn more about this thing called kink. I have been aware of kink for some time now, but only recently felt like it should be part of my life. This realization came from opening myself up to someone who has become very important to me. She helped me realize that part of why I inflict pain is that I enjoy it. I made further realizations about myself when someone else re-entered my life and was willing to let me do even more to him. These two are willing to give me the gift of their submission. I wish to be worthy of that gift. Thus I turn to this place, hoping that I can gain a basic understanding so that I may ask the right questions to lead me further on this path.
