SF D/s Discussion Group - SF Citadel - third Monday of each month, 7:30pm-9:15pm - doors open at 7:00pm; meeting starts at 7:30pm Bring a brown bag dinner and join us at the SF Citadel for a directed discussion, held in a spirit of fellowship and mutual respect, on matters pertaining to Dominance and submission. Moderated by Eric Arkouda, this monthly event is a product of the 10-12 participants who bring a variety of backgrounds, views, topics, and questions to the discussion. This discussion is open to anyone 18 years or older having a sincere, positive, personal interest in D/s; participants need not be members of the Society of Janus. All roles, genders, gender identifications, and orientations are welcome. 12-STEP KINK RECOVERY GROUP WHERE: SF Citadel (Mission and 9th) WHEN: 6:30PM until 8:00PM "SAFEWORD" Kinky Recovery is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem of addiction and help others to recovery. D/s in Film-(Dominance/submission) class dates are January 27, Feb, 10th, 17th and 24th each class will cost 20.00 doors open at 7:30 class goes from 8:00 till about 10:30ish This four week course will explore ways D/s is presented in four different films. Together, we will view films, have presentations by co-presenters and participate in discussions. Film topics will range from non-consensual D/s, what makes D/s appealing and hot, why a Top would want service and how sadism is involved, why being dominated appeals to a submissive, about the heat of having one's limits pushed, why someone might want to serve another, how fantasy role-playing crosses over into everyday life, and the psychological implications of D/s. Presenter Bio: Rope Wolf is a Native American that grew up in San Francisco. When not working for the corporate dollar, hy writes erotica and short stories, and speaks and teaches on behalf of the LBGT community on a variety of topics, including BDSM. Hy has taught "Six Bondage Tricks for your Toy Bag" at Exiles, "Knife Play" at NLA-Dallas", "Erotic D/s 24/7-Beginning to Intermediate" at IMsL 2007, "Bondage for Beginners" at IMsL 2008,"Mind Fucks & Mental Games" and "Beginning Fisting" at LLW, and "Fire Play" at the S.F. Ladies, Are you a knitter, crocheter or other sort of hand crafts (beading, needlepoint, etc)? Are you kinky or perverted? If the answer to both of these is yes, then we have the event for you!
On every third Wednesday at the SF Citadel from 7 to 9 pm, come join other women to work on our projects and chat together.
The goal is to have a regular craft circle where you can come, work on your projects, get the occasional advice from others, while hanging out with like-minded kinky people.
The cost is $5 per person and everyone is invited to bring some sort of finger food or snacks that we can pass around and share.
Please note, this gathering is for the ladies only a la Stich n' Bitch.

Thursday, February 19th 8pm-10om $20.00 This class explores the subtle and profound impact of bringing energetic awareness into play. We will cover the basics of what energy is and how it moves through the body. We will also teach exercises in improving awareness and sensitivity to energy, and demonstrate what can be possible through the development of these skills. The class is designed for people new to energy play, advanced practitioners and all those in between. Whether you are a top, bottom, or switch, these skills can be used in enhance your play, as well as your life. Master Rig has been a Dominant and top in the public BDSM community for six years. He is a graduate of Journeyman III Academy of California, where he also serves on the board of directors. He has also attended APEX Academy Butchmann's Experience. A member of Society of Janus, he began search his for spirituality with the exploration of martial arts, exploring the connection of body, mind and spirit. He has continued his spiritual growth by studying Eastern Philosophies and energy spirituality. He achieves spiritual cognizance through consensual power exchange as part of his practice.
