Americans are in a deep comfortable groove. . .we have to get them out of it.
The only way to do that is to shock them out of it. . .but we are not ready to do that. Luckily the republicans are creating the preconditions for the shock.

What we must do is form a political organization which is independent of political parties and develop plans. . .when we are ready, we would then act on those plans.

I call this group. . .The Green Political Union. . .a citizens' political union. Just like workers have unions to represent their interests, citizens should have a union to represent theirs. the parties are corrupted by money in politics and the democratic party, which is our only hope are rusted and barely able to move. the good news is the aparatus is available to be used.

The Green Political Union would stand for a politiical program that will make the needed changes and redress the wrongs in society. The workers in the GPU would recruit and educate. . .recruit and educate. . .until a critical mass is formed. rather than supporting whatever candidate comes along, we would measure the candidates against the program, and use the democratic party for electoral purposes.

Remember what Margaret Mead said. . .it only takes a small number of committed people to change the world.
