Anyone else bey the Nykko Kama Wireless Chuck? Not the one that hides your wire in the base, but the actual wireless one? Well, I did. I'm not very pleased with it. I'm actually gonna (try to) take it back tomorrow. It's OK (not great) when it's in direct line with the Wiimote, but if it even drops behind your leg it loses connect. Also, the stick and buttons both seem to "hang" sometimes (like my pinball flipper would hang in the up position). For a game that needs a lightning quick C button response (like HIstory of Pinball: Williams), it's terrible. Please let me know if anyone else gets one and has better luck. I accept that I might have got a lemon.

Re: Wireless Nunchuck
Fri, May 9, 2008 - 10:48 AMIm so sad to hear this. i was hoping for a solution to end me whipping myself in the face with the damned cord. I think another company or two are coming out with their won versions. Hopefully they work better...

Re: Wireless Nunchuck
Fri, May 9, 2008 - 10:59 AMHmmm...I don't have on eyet myself, but everything I've heard said they were just as functional as the Nintendo ones. wiifanboy, joystiq, kotaku, and arstechnica all reviewed them glowingly, if I remember right. I'd say maybe take/send it back and try one more time, just to be sure.
If they aren't very good, I'm with Ivan. I was so hoping to lose that damn whip! lol -

Re: Wireless Nunchuck
Fri, May 9, 2008 - 11:12 AMI don't really mind the cord, myself, but I know eventually I'll succumb and get a cordless nunchuk.
Because my life for the past year can pretty much be summed up in two words: Wii Toys!
The video game part of the TV cabinet keeps growing and growing and growing. I've moved a bunch of movies and rearranged the DVD and cable boxes a bunch of times. Once the Wii Fit arrives I may need to get a bigger cabinet. -

Fri, May 9, 2008 - 1:11 PMI was just thinking that I would need a larger house when Rock Band for Wii comes out%^) -

Re: Wireless Nunchuck
Fri, May 9, 2008 - 1:18 PMI hear you on the rockband problem. I now have a drumkit stowed behind the cat tree/infront of a book case. No better option at the moment. At least the guitars can tuck out of sight behind the tv, and the wii-fit board, much like the DDR mat can live beneath the entertainment center. -

Fri, May 9, 2008 - 3:08 PMMy exact response. When and where did you score that?
Cool multi-part interview with Shigeru Miyamoto about the development of the Wii Fit. I love Miyamoto-san: He's like a cross between Red Skelton and Buddha.
