While I appreciate many of the over-18 models who are obviously consenting, sober adults (and not shy about showing their boobs), I question the ethics of posting photos of Accidental Public Nipple Slips (you know, when a bare breast slips from a top). Worse still, the pics of obviously drunk young women, some of them college-aged, at parties.
I wonder about the obvious privacy problems with the new "camera cell-phones".
I do not feel good inside myself when I view photos of things that are not meant to be publicly seen.
Yes, I know that drunk people do stupid things.
If I were the moderator of this tribe, I'd probably remove all the photos that take advantage of the drunk, and of accidental public nipple slips.
I'm a photographer and model, both. I also blog, keep journals, and practice other forms of creativity.
Besides copyright issues, there's obvious Privacy issues involved.
This bothers me. I HAD to say something.
I think it's gross to take advantage of the drunk and of accidental nipple slips. It's humiliating. People who drink too much on a regular basis, have a disease called "alcoholism". They are not morally deficient. They're sick. Like people with diabetes or cancer. Nobody snaps humiliating photos of diabetics or cancer survivors, do they?

Re: Drunk photos and inadvertent nipple slips? Unethical, methinks.....
Sun, December 17, 2006 - 2:02 PMWomen who don't want their breasts exposed shouldn't wear clothing that allows it to happen. The nation would be in an uproar if men wore clothes that allowed their penises to slip out from time to time. But women are allowed (sanctioned?) by society to wear any kind of skimpy outfit held up by gravity or friction. Sorry, no, spaghetti straps are not a fashion statement; they are exhibitionism because sooner or later the strap is going to slide off.

Re: Drunk photos and inadvertent nipple slips? Unethical, methinks.....
Sun, December 17, 2006 - 6:51 PMNever thought of it *that* way. Well, anyway, there's a good reason why I dress modestly in public. (And not at all or scantily in many of my photos!) Now, to see a man's penis slide out of his pants... that would be a hoot! Provided he's cool with that possibility and not too shy about us women (or maybe some men!) enjoying the sight of an exposed adult penis! -

I happen to enjoy the sight very much and am dismayed that i don't see more of them casually peeking out.

Mon, December 18, 2006 - 12:22 PMSo, you enjoy the sight of a man's cock peeping out, too? Yes, well I like seeing nipples, myself. That's why I'm here! Human bodies are utterly fascinating.... as long as the person inhabiting that body is OK with the possibility of strangers seeing unclothed parts. Drunk people aren't in a place to give true consent. The laws of the UK tend to agree with me, there.
