Sakti/Taos

I took the bellydance workshop in Santa Fe with Sakti years ago. Just thought to ask if she still might teach? Did any of you study with her?

    I looooooooooove Sakti. I took classes with her years ago too. I'm pretty sure she's still around in Taos. I know she's still selling costumes and I'm almost positive that she's still teaching. Do you need her contact info?

    We used to collect her cool photo business cards like baseball cards! hee hee.

      Naah, thanks but just thought of her. I visited my friend Joan Kafri at that time and she took me to Sakti's workshop. It was a drum solo and something else I cannot remember anymore. Must have been like 10 yrs ago.

        Joan is a friend of mine too. That's about when I was taking classes from Sakti too. I wonder if we were in the same class? :o) Small world.

          It is possible indeed, I think I was the only Finn there. I also went with her (Joan) to meet local dancers at someone's home and saw the first time in my life a video of FCBD. The result was that I have hosted Carolena and Megha 3 times in Europe and did General Skills : )

          I also performed at Joan's show 2001 - Middle Eastern Moods. Did we possibly meet there?
