Hey Hipsters,

Anyone go to DirkFest? I'm compiling information for a written piece and want to hear your stories about the evening. According to our friends in the press we played a great set. I tend to to analyze our sets because I'm too critical. I was nice to see many people from the old days there. However, it was too crazy to get a chance to really talk to anyone for an extended period of time. Our original bass player Jeff Reese was there to play half of the set. The always amazing Chip Kinman also played with us, doing some Dils classics. Chip and his wife Lisa stayed with us for the weekend and it was a real treat to spend time with someone I looked up to as a kid. Chip is the world's nicest guy (so is Lisa). I look forward to seeing them on Friday when we play the Scen Bar in Los Angeles. OK kids tell me some stories!

          Hey Cinthea,

It was great to meet you to! As for show reviews, they're scattered around the internet. However, finding them is a pain. SF weekly gave the bands a great but short review. I just got back from a show in Los Angeles so I'll get links up some time tomorrow. I haven't seen my wife all weekend and really want to spend some time with her!
