RRE Baby!!!

What a fucking blast!!! And just what the doctor ordered..... :-)

It all started with the boyz coming on stage to a backdrop of Missy. One of the photos we've all seen now. I kinda 'blank' those things, in the details, just because..... Its the thought, and the concept, that matters to me...... In any case, it was an ***amazing*** beginning!!!!!

And amazing from there on out!!!!

The Happy Brigade clan did a nice little parade to begin the second set. Nice being right up front to be amidst it all!!

The building was literally moving, just like for SCI at NYE!! In fact, this felt like the "refrain" to the amazing NYE SCI run here!!! (ignore the negative stuff you've heard from others!!!! It was amazing!!!!!!)

Except that...... I think I crushed Yost on the way out.... :-{ More than once, even! ;-) Purely by accident, dude!!!! ;-) :-) :-)

      Butt seriously, thanks to all you CALI (;~) kidz for letting this Texan w/ no fuckin life enjoy RRE @ the Fillmore vicariously thru you. I really do feel like I was there... "I want a warhead of my own" circling thru my head has kept me boogying around the house all day. Y'all ROCK!

        Yeah, Warhead was pretty sweet! I thought that LWTG opener was so apropos! Shows that even though they almost sold out the Fillmoe the 1st time out, they don't (yet :) have big heads (Todd). It's always great to get (a) Head at a show. No Mess the whole run though... Saddle was cool, but the RRE encore OMG, talk about a tear-jerker moment... Think I was at the Yankee about 5 times that weekend. Stayed up in SF to see the in-store appearance on Sunday. Went over from the Yankee w/Fritz & Alana. They wern't starting without him cuz he had the mic cables! When we got there, whoops, wrong box of cables... But they managed to pull it off somehow. Great way to wind down from the weekend... Mellow set, maybe 6 songs? I think the setlist was posted on the Earthboard. Then went back to the Yankee for a while more. Fritz had talked the band into coming back over...
        I definitely had a life this weekend!

        Picked up the Elko CD too. Great sound, get it!!

          Sounds like you should have just camped out at the Yankee!!! ;-) Fritzie should just allow camping there for weekends like this! hee hee...

          Sorry I missed the in store thingy. I was sleepin'. And sleepin' soundly. Zzzzz..... I'm still way impressed that they did that, tho!!
