I love those little cessnas!!!!!

But, I grew up with an uncle who's a pilot. He even used to build "model airplanes" that he'd fly (I never did get rides in the really cool ones, tho, boo hoo ;-) They always went to the EAA (experimental aircraft association) meetings in Oshkosh WI, and even paid to ride a Concorde for a brief stint, before they were cancelled.... He now flies jets for friends.....

Also had a friend in college who took us on a couple of cessna trips - to Catalina and such.

In both cases, I'd be given a chance to take the controls once airborne. I think that makes it feel a little safer somehow. You realize and/or learn that they're safer and easier to control than ya think - or something like that. And, of course, they'd do a few tricks to make it more fun and/or scary, but would immediately take control again, regaining safety..... Fun stuff!!!!!

ANyone ever fly in a glider plane? I've done that a few times, too, via friends. Also fun stuff, but that's more scary since you don't have an engine to help get you out of any trouble should any occur. There, you're totally dependent upon wind currents and the skills of your pilot....

And Andrea, you should know better than to expect sprouts from seeds in a couple of daze!!! ;-) tee hee.....
