07/17I thought of something else after I got home and already handed in my form -- or more accurately, my hubby did.
I noted that the show with the larger audience was on Friday night...which was the night when all the local dancers performed, and Saturday was the night when all the out of town dancers performed, big name teachers or not. :)
Since local people don't know UNMATA from their elbow, why not mix up the local acts with the out of town acts so we have a more guaranteed audience both nights? I know y'all are trying to keep all the teachers on one night and everyone else on another, for symmetry and stuff, but you might get a larger audience both nights if you played the "family and friends" card.

Thank you to all who had a chance to complete the Festival evaluation form! We made several changes to our Festival from last year to this year based on participant feedback. If you did not have the chance to complete an evaluation form (which was located in your welcome bag) and would be able to do so now, now that you've had the chance to rest and reflect, we would be SO APPRECIATIVE of your feedback! If you still have a form, please complete it and either drop it off at Heartbeat of the East or, if you are from out of town, PM jenna or Imbi or ~kim~ for a mailing address.
If you do not have a form, please PM ~kim~ and she will send you the form electronically, and you can email it to us!
We would also appreciate feedback from NoMi Vendors and Instructors. Kim is creating specialized evaluation forms for you and will be forwarding them to you for completion.
Your thoughts and comments are an integral faction of improving the NoMi Festival experience!!!! We hope that you did see improvement from last year to this...we made every attempt to address everone's concerns and suggestions from last year.
Thank you again for getting to NoMi! We would be NOTHING without you!!!!!!!!
