Re: 2009?
Sun, November 23, 2008 - 9:06 AMHmm... now that Kadri's ramping back up...
I vote .... OHHHH YEAH!
But then again, I'm just the good natured video guy who thought it was an amazing show with great energy. ;-)

Re: 2009? Other fests...
Sun, November 23, 2008 - 9:14 AMEvery festival has its own character, and I loved the intimacy of the last Northern Migration, the fantastic venue at Ani DiFranco's "Church at Asbury Hall", performers, attendees and vendors. I even thought the black backdrop on the stage was a refreshing change from other festivals which use printed backdrops or none at all.
That said, there *are* other warm-weather NorthEast festivals up North that are options for ya' if you search around... *very* different, but still could be interesting for ya...
- Rakkasah Spring Caravan and Rakkasah East (both in Somerset NJ)
- Northern Lights (Wisconsin Dells)
- Shimmy Retreats (Sept 11th-13th '09) in Tecumseh Michigan www.siteskins.net/mesmerize...nce/4.html
- Others?
Cheers,
:-) Rob

Re: 2009?
Tue, November 25, 2008 - 10:17 AMThere hasn't been talk of a ressurection.....YET.....but NoMi, in it's fledgling and encore year was thought to be one of the best festivals around by instructors and attendees alike. Hayley, did you attend either? I don't remember your face...but I think I would, you're a beauty....ANYWAY....if it does come back, info will be posted for sure. There's always a chance, that's why we keep this tribe alive!
