OK…here are a couple answers to questions that have been coming up.
First, the good news – the DVDs are almost done and a clip will be posted here any day so you can get a taste for the whole thing.
Second, the bad news – after much thought and even more debate, it has been decided that there will not be a NoMi this year. We’ve loved doing this event and seeing all of you dancing your hearts out, but unfortunately it is not financially feasible to do another one.
So there it is, keep your eyes posted here for that clip and I’ll post when the DVDs mail!

NoMi, gave us all 2 years of wonderful memories... a chance to learn and grow, network, and embrace our love for dance, LOCALLY. And I am PROUD to say that I was a part of it all... but have to say thank you to you, Kadri, for giving me the chance to be a part of it all. Thank you for all the hard work you put into making NoMi happen, and thank you for being an inspiration, on so, so, many levels. I look forward to seeing what the future holds... I know you must have some ideas brewing.

Mon, January 7, 2008 - 7:25 PMWHHHHAAAAAAA?!?!? Oh no!!!!!! NoMi was NO LESS than one of the most well organized, most amazingly fun tribal events I've ever been to! Ok, gals, I say we have a massive tribal camping event in....say in Buffalo...at oh...I don't know...this really cool spot on Delaware Avenue. Ever heard of it? I'll bring smores! -

Tue, January 8, 2008 - 5:21 AMNooooooooooo! I was really looking forward to it this year! It is such a well organized event, that it makes the the short drive and long weekend well worth it! I'm sorry to hear it won't be happening this year.
A big thanks to all the girls and guys how helped put it all together...it really was a fantastic weekend of dancing and workshops and friendships!
Atleast we will have the DVD's to remind us of the good times! -

Part of me wondered about financial feasibility, but ohmigosh you did such a great job and made it such a special experience. It reminded me of how much I loved Kassar and made me want to invite them to my event. I hope NoMi will return in the future, even if on a smaller scale (*fingers crossed*) :( -

I'll be here ready to do anything I can to make that happen :) It was a wonderful way to bring so many people come together to learn and grow and connect.
I just wish I could get my hands on another black NoMi teeshirt.....I wear mine so much....proudly!!
