Hey there fellas! I'm just about to post some pics from our hiking trip. We had a wonderfully relaxing time. Perfect weather and a beautiful reclusive site. We're talking about doing this one again in the fall during the salmon run so we can fish right at the site and feast on fresh salmon! We took a great hike up the river/creek with Tad setting a brisk pace there and back again. It was not a hike for the weak hearted to be sure. We had a great selection of wild berries to eat along the way and tried unsuccessfully to grab some crawdads. But hey it was all great fun!

I unfortunately scored myself a brown recluse spider bite sunday morning and left a bit earlier than I had hoped so I could get myself to the emergency room. No worries though, it's healing fine and I did not need to have any flesh cut away which was my main concern as the bite was just below my knuckle on my left index finger. And I'm too handy to be losing any digits! Puny ay? No worries though, fortunately I was correct in my diagnosis and got treatment in plenty of time and it is healing nicely.
