I have had a hardcore crush on this gay boy who is much younger than me. He is absolutely gorgeous with the sweetest demeanor. He runs around in the same circles that i do. Aside from the fact that i'm totally barking up the wrong tree, i'm sure he has an inkling that i'm totally smitten by him. To spare him the discomfort, i avoid him and have not been hanging out with that crowd.
It really sucks having a crush on someone you know you can never have.

Mon, April 9, 2007 - 9:29 AMI dunno - I'm of the mind that having the crush, the feeling of the crush, is better than having no crush at all.
I suppose it's a matter of just enjoying the thrill of it.

Mon, April 9, 2007 - 10:24 AMsure, but how long can that thrill last? After a while, you want to do something about it, i think. Or at least, i do. -

Re: dead-end street
Mon, April 9, 2007 - 9:24 PMwell, ride the thrill as long as you can and, hopefully, you find someone you can take it out on.
that's why it's always good to have a partner who is willing to, um, 'play the part', if you know what i mean... -

Re: dead-end street
Mon, April 9, 2007 - 10:12 PMi'm tired of the playing/pretending. I don't know--for me crushes are cute but then they get old. There is that momentary giddiness and thrill, but when it comes down to it ... *brekkkk* (family feud bad buzzer)
Alas, but what can i do? not much. Just continue to pine. ha!
