20 Astral Keys to Gates of Universal Consciousness

Carl Gustav Jung (1875–1961) was a Swiss psychiatrist who developed the field of analytical psychology and introduced the concept of archetypes of consciousness being "innate universal psychic dispositions that form the substrate from which the basic themes of human life emerge. Being universal and innate, their influence can be detected in the form of myths, symbols, rituals and instincts of human beings. Archetypes are components of the collective unconscious and serve to organize, direct and inform human thought and behaviour. ...archetypes heavily influence the human life cycle, propelling a neurologically hard-wired sequence which he called the stages of life. Each stage is mediated through a new set of archetypal imperatives which seek fulfillment in action."[1]

Centuries before Jung, the Maya introduced the very similar concept of Archetypes of Divine Consciousness. (According to the Maya, there are 20 of them.) Likewise, these Archetypes form the substrate from which individual Divine Consciousness emerges. Also being components of the collective unconscious, the Maya-identified Archetypes organize, direct and engender Divine thought and behavior in the human experience, in stages, over the course of days, months, years, ...millennia. Hard wired into the binary code of DNA and the human brain, these Archetypes are mediated through the permutations of an universal, binary, object oriented Code evident in and galactically broadcast by harmonic star cycles. The Maya perceived the astral Nature of the Code and embodied It in a "lunar calendar." Regarded as their Sacred Calendar, they call it the "Tzolkin." The Tzolkin enables them to track the cycles, the individual stages of the cycles [i.e. days] and the progressive effects of those intermeshed stages in order to further enable them to live in conscious alignment and synchronicity with the 20 Archetypes. According to the Maya, living in such alignment and synchronicity activates the inherent Divine Consciousness latent within the individual consciousness. Thus activated, the Divine Unconscious within can be consciously harnessed and channeled for communlal and personal well being.

Being both harmonic and binary in Nature, the Tzolkin's Code has been digitized and expressed in sound. As the stuff of our bodies comes from starlight, the acoustic expressions (of the Code's objects relative to the individual Archetypes) directly facilitate an exclusively positive rewiring of the brain, aligning and synchronizing its synapses with the dynamics of the respective Archetypes, and having a sympathetic effect advancing the activation of analogous higher functions of DNA. (Rather than needing to track the individual harmonic stages of the Archetypes as they naturally occur staggered over the course of months and larger spans of Time, as Maya clerics have done for centuries, the Archetypes' entire harmonic sequences can be heard in seconds.) Comparing Solar Wind and the Mayan Sacred Calendar

The Mayan Sacred Calendar (the Tzolkin) is said to be a graphic representation of a Logic expressed by star harmonics that unlock doors of consciousness and interdimensional reality. Having translated the Tzolkin into sound, we offer you a comparison between that and actual NASA recorded solar wind.

When the Tzolkin's harmonic Logic is sequenced in the sonic register and played back at high speed, it sounds very much like solar wind recorded by the Voyager spacecraft, also played back at high speed. All the legends stated unambiguously that Quetzalcoatl / Kukulkan / Gucumatz / Votan / Izamana had arrived in Central America from somewhere very far away (across the 'Eastern Sea') and that amid great sadness he had eventually sailed off again in the direction whence he had come.

The legends added that he had promised solemnly that HE WOULD RETURN ONE DAY - a clear echo of Viracocha it would be almost perverse to ascribe to coincidence.

Maya Calendar information from Hunbatz Men

Namaste friends and seekers,

Just wanted to pass along this information for those of you to whom this may be of interest.

I just returned from my second trip studying and doing energy work with Hunbatz and it has forever changed my life. The effects in my daily life, my business, and my personal life of my first trip with him were amazing...and I've only been back a week from the second journey and, already, the universe has shown me clearly the rewards from this work.

I spent my second week studying in a very small group with Hunbatz Men, Calendar/Daykeeper of the Itza Tribe (the tribe connected with the Pyramid of Kukulcan/Chichen Itza). Needless to say, the 13 moon calendar is in no way connected to the ancient Mayan cycles and glyphs. I believe its intentions may be light, but, it is no where near as mathematically precise as the calendars of the Maya, and I am but a few steps into the journey of fully understanding the depth of them.

My trip in December included several "seasoned" lightworkers who were equally amazed as I at the velocity of consciousness-awakening that can take place at the temples of the Mayalands. It was such a profound trip that I will be returning again in March with a group from around the world, and hope to see some of you there! The March trip will focus on the Spring Equinox, and classes will cover Mayan cosmology and calendars, while ceremonies and rituals will be led at sacred sites like Dzibilchatun, Uxmal, and Chichen Itza. José Argüelles and the Venus lord Lahun-Chan

Greetings everyone,

In this message I will tell you something which I had the opportunity to speak about with a brazilian friend of mine called Thiago (13 Lamat), which has to with José Argüelle's Kin, according to the traditional Mayan calendar (I'm referring to the correlation GMT1 or 584283, which coincides with the modern Quiché count of the Cholq'ij/Tzolkin).

Well, what happens is that the Kin (mayan day of birth) of Argüelles in the traditional calendar is 10 CHICCHAN (10-Serpent, or "red planetary serpent" using the terms employed in the Dreamspell), and that Kin is intimately associated with a very important mayan Venus Lord, called Lahun-Chan. "Lahun" means Ten, and "Chan" is the archaic form of "Can" (Serpent), which proves the connection between this god and this specific Kin. You can confirm that Argüelles' Kin is 10-Serpent, through these pages (remember that he was born January 24th, 1939):

(Quiché names; gives "Lajuj Kaan" which is "Lahun Chicchan" (=Can, Chan) in the classical mayan dialect).

When I made this discovery, I was pretty intrigued because --as a follower of the millenar and traditional Mayan calendar-- I always saw Argüelles as a charlatan, which used the ancient Mayan wisdom to promote himself as a Christ (a so-called saviour of Humankind, "he who closes the cycle") and his own fabricated pseudo-mayan calendar called Dreamspell. However, the fact that Argüelles' Kin was the sacred day of a Venus Lord (being this planet traditionally connected to Quetzalcoatl-Kukulkan, or to more obscure gods like Tezcatlipoca and Itztlacoliuhqui), in a way it confirmed that Argüelles will have an important role. That was why I talked with my friend Thiago, to speak about this and, maybe, to know his opinion about this subject.

As I imagined, Thiago, who is a "traditional mayanist" like me, was also surprised by this. However, after our conversation I made some research about the god Lahun-Chan and discovered something which is very interesting and suggestive. See for yourselves:

«"Drunkard, deformed dog is his prognostic. The head of a jaguar; the rear of a dog. A meddler, a prattler, dishonest in his speech, an experimenter in mutual hatred, a sower of discord. Great." This category of unpleasant characteristics fits the description of Lahun-Chan, "10 Sky", the principal god of the planet Venus (...)»

(The reference to "10 Sky" instead of "10 Serpent" has to do with the similarity between the mayan words Chan and Chaan (or Can and Caan), which mean Serpent and Sky. In several mayan dialects, "serpent" and "sky" correspond exactly to the same word, without any difference in the pronounciation.)

Now *THIS* is a very curious description of Lahun-Chan, don't you think?...

Just found the "13 moon" thing a few days ago. Couldn't quite figure how the 'day out of time' always fell on the same solar day every year. But hey, I just ignored it. Its a fun think....

I did try to understand the Mayan calendar years ago and found the glyophs and all very complex. Can anyone explain any of it for me? Link to a good site ...

also it was said when the dreamspell came out that this was not a complete set .
and that the understanding of the material came after the publishing.

anyways i hope not to start another longcount shortcount war . i find this absolete in the world we are living in today . just note that calender change and other things are tools to put people on focus. And to ask questions ...

thanks for creating this tribe.

I was into 13-moons and dreamspell for a while back in the 1990s and as i got into it i was currious about why there were differences between it and the mayan long count.

the main one seems to be that Jose adjusted it so that his birthday fell on the birthday of Pacal the great (or a Jose has erroneously called him "Pacal Votan") Jose is just some dude who has made a whole system built around himself.

well actually it doesnt really matter wich calendar is "right'
thats just our ego talking .
me myselpf i'm a 13 moon nut.
but am also aware of the 'true' count and the 9 other different counts... ( or something like that)
it really doesnt matter that much .as long if you follow something else than the mindfucking gregorian one.

the main reasons you give to have a certain critisisms is more then correct.
but i am born on the 29th of february and i just keep on saying " so? " if it works . if it feels good why not?
We are livng in the time of profecies and there are studies wich say that the earth has been turing at 265,215/solar ring inly sinds 700 years ago. and i am also aware of the power of magic. for exemple the myanprofecies and the porfecies from the holy koran all say the same. the earth will stop moving for 3 days and then turn in the other direction. 1.) The Gregorian calendar is now used in most of the world.

First proposed by Aloysius Lilius and decreed by Pope Gregory XIII on February 24th 1582, the Gregorian calendar is a modification of the Julian calendar, introduced in 46BC by Julius Caesar who consulted Alexandrian astronomer Sosigenes for its design. Their difference? When there are leap years.

The Julian calendar has a February with 29 days every year divisible by four, like 1916, 2008, etc.

The system for leap years in the Gregorian calendar is as follows: Every year divisible by 4, like 1960, 1984, and so on, has a February with 29 days, unless the year is also divisible by 100, like 1800 or 1900, in which case February still has 28 days, unless the year is also divisible by 400, like 1600 or 2000, and then February has 29 days anyway.

Today is Wednesday, June 14th, 2006 in the Gregorian calendar.

The Gregorian calendar has various cycles. A week is a cycle of seven days, and with Monday as 1, today would be 3. There are 12 months, each with days of 28, 29, 30, or 31. Today's date is 14, and June would be numbered 6. There are also years, with the 1 point being the time of a supposed date of a birth (there is no year zero when using AD and BC, which is why 0.0.0.0.0 in the Mayan calendar with the 584283 correlation constant can be written either -3113 or 3114BC).

Thinking of it this way, and with the largest cycle first, today's date could be written 2006.6.14 3 (the 6th month's 14th day, 3rd day of the week).

The Mayan calendar has various cycles. The above date (left to right) is the Long Count, with the Calendar Round, and today's "unnamed" glyph (the 13th baktun's 20th katun's 14th tun's 7th uinal's 19th kin, 1st day of the of the trecena, 12th day of the 4th "month" of the Haab, and 3rd "Lord of the Underworld".)

3.) The numbers of the Long Count belong to the following cycles:

12 - baktun 19 - katun 13 - tun 6 - uinal 18 - kin
(kin, tun, and katun are numbered from 0 to 19, and uinal are numbered from 0 to 17)

baktun = 20 katun (144,000 days) approx. 394 years
katun = 20 tun (7,200 days) approx 20 years
tun = 18 uinal (360 days) approx. 1 year
uinal = 20 kin (20 days)
kin = 1 day

This means when we get to 13.0.0.0.0 it will be December 21, 2012.

4.) The twenty kin also relate to a 260 day cycle known as the Tzolkin (not its original name, but one widely used today). The numbers are called trecena, and the signs veintena (also not original names, but also widely used). Much knowledge was lost, hidden, or obscured due to the centuries of colonialism in the Americas; though names existed or may even still be known by some persons, many original terms remain unpublished and I use commonly used words to be more easily understood.

The days in Yucatec (with English approximations) are:

2 Ik (wind)
3 Akbal (house/night)
4 Kan (lizard)

The 13 Moons calendar borrows the Tzolkin number and sign combinations with the numbers as attributes (i.e. 8 is "galactic", 2 is "lunar") and signs renamed (Kimi [Death] is "World-Bridger", Ben [Reed] is "Skywalker"), but I disregard these namings. It's not what they are. It would be like me calling Scorpio "Belief-Seeking Giawalker" or Gemini "Accepting Story-Listener".

5.) The Haab is a 365 day cycle with 18 "months" of 20 days (numbered 0 to 19) and 5 extra days (known as Uayab); 18 times 20 plus 5 = 365. The Haab are apparently not given numbers (i.e. the year of 2006).

Today is 11Zotz. Tomorrow is 12Zotz, and the day after is 13Zotz.The Haab's "months" are:

6.) The combination of the Tzolkin and Haab repeat every 52 years minus 13 days (today's 1Etznab 11Zotz will next appear Saturday, June 1, 2058).

In the Gregorian calendar, the average 52 years is 39 regular years of 365 days (14, 235 days) plus 13 leap years of 366 days (4,758 days), adding up to 18, 993 days.

In the Mayan calendar, after one Calendar Round (52 Haab or 73 Tzolkin, 18, 980 days) if one trecena of 13 days is added, it adds up to 18, 993 days.

7.) I do not know much about the 9 "unnamed" glyphs, other than that there are nine of them and they are dubbed the "Lords of the Underworld". 9 divides the tun (360 days) into 40 parts, though. Today is G3. Tomorrow is G4.

8.) The correlation constant is a set of numbers indicating which Gregorian calendar date falls on which day in the Mayan calendar. I use I. Van Laningham's Mayan Calendar Tools to figure out the dates, but I change the default 584285 c.c. ("Lounsbury") to 584283 ("Goodman-Martinez-Thompson"), because the latter aligns with the reckoning still kept in the highlands of Guatemala to this day (I figure, as they are the decendants of those who created the calendar, they among anyone should know when's when).

June 14th, 2006, using the Goodman-Martinez-Thompson correlation constant of 584283 is 12.19.13.6.18 and with the Lounsbury c.c. it is 12.19.13.6.16 (with the G-M-T c.c. 13.0.0.0.0 falls on the solstice, and with the Lounsbury c.c. of 584285 it does not).
