I’m doing an article on people who wanted to be a professional athlete and either made it they’re career or chose a different career – in sports or completely different career.
The article will be about careers and how individuals got into they’re current careers.
a) How professional athletes made it into the career of they’re choice
b) How they got into a career in the sports industry but not they’re first choice as a career
c) How they got into they’re career that isn’t in professional sports

Re: Looking for former or current professional sports athletes
Sun, March 4, 2007 - 8:33 PMI really don't mean to offend so I hope you don't take this that way.
You may want to use "their" to denote possession rather than "they're" which is a contraction for "they are". I'm sure you'd hate to publish an article only to discover later that you had repeated the same grammatical mistake throughout.
Cheers :) -
