Hey, there are a lot of people in Oakland who ride bikes. I know because I see you when I'm riding mine. This will be a place to discuss safe(r) areas to ride in Oakland, warnings about bike dangers and reminders of Critical Masses, especially Oakland's baby CM. Feel free to also ask bike ?'s and buy, sell or trade bikes/parts(as long as they're not stolen). Get out of your car and off your ass and onto a bike. BTW, it has been brought to my attention that unicycles get no mention here. Let it be henceforth known that this tribe will include our single wheel riding brothers and sisters:).
