...Who participates in the rides. As a cheerful character, I really want to promote a friendly vibe to encourage people to support or even join our cause. In light of recent events, I think we need to show the good natured side of the collection of folks who ride. Smile, ask people for their patience when they see critical mass so that our friends don't get hurt while demonstrating. Thank people for their patience and tell them how fun it is and they should join us on fridays at the various masses. I will be getting 'I brake for Critical Mass' bumper stickers made to get the word out that bicyclists need the common sense of motorists to survive much less be able to get our messages out about alternative transportation, fighting the oil war and global warming. Plenty of motorists i see when i ride in mass are supportive. We need to get them involved in spreading the word about sharing the road and bike safety. Thanks again to everyone who participates.
